Ich werde mit jedem Jahr paranoider. Und WENN ich dann rausfinde, dass im Fixed Limit Action Cards gedealt werden und Spieler konditioniert werden, dann fahr ich zu Nolan Dalla (oder wer auch immer verantwortlich ist) nach Hause, und dann gibt´s Fratzengeballer.
Ich habe als Lowstakes FL Wurst wahrscheinlich mehr Rake gezahlt als Durrr und Ivey zusammen (abgesehen davon dass die sogar fürs spielen bezahlt werden).

No computer program is capable of producing truly random results. On its
own, a computer could only produce a pseudo-random shuffle, with results
essentially dictated by the program.
Consider the following situation however; what if the computer had a human
casino dealer sitting next to it shuffling decks of cards and feeding them
into the computer, and the computer then dealt out the cards in the order
that the dealer shuffled them? In this case the computer isn't simply
relying on its own program to deal the cards. It is also influenced by an
independent, random, and unpredictable stimulus - the human dealer.
Similarly at PokerStars, the shuffle program is influenced by two
independent, random, and unpredictable external stimuli, being:
1) Combined mouse movements from players connected to PokerStars
2) Quantum randomness, which is used by our true hardware random number
generator developed by Swiss-based company ID Quantique.
Just one of these stimuli in combination with the shuffle program would be
sufficient to produce an entirely unpredictable and random shuffle, however
PokerStars has applied both.

Die Spieler generieren einfach einen zusätzlichen Strom an Zufallsdaten durch die Gesamtheit aller Mausbewegungen (X/Y-Koordinaten; vermutlich aber eher die relativen Bewegungen statt absoluter Koordinaten) der dann mit echten Zufallsdaten kombiniert wird - viel Erfolg also beim Raten was wie wann wofür relevant ist.. ♦
Der Punkt ist aber, ich nehme durch meine Handlung Einfluss darauf welche Karten kommen und das finde ich prinzipiell nicht ok.
Das man es nicht steuern kann ist mir schon klar, aber mir misfällt das Konzept!

Alter, ich bin seit 5 Jahren ein gut zahlender Kunde von Stars, da möchte ich bitte mal ein paar stichhaltige Infos zur Software, wenn mir mal wieder einiges spanisch vorkommt. Das wird ja wohl mein gutes Recht sein.
Die Action Card Theorie möchte ich mal widerlegt sehen und nicht einfach "unsere Software kommt vond er Schweizer Firma soundso" - du glaubst nicht wie korrupt dieser Planet ist.

also wer nur ein funken ahnung von "echten" zufallszahlen hat weiß dass kein programm der welt echte zufällige zahlen rausspucken kann. wie auch !?
ich find das einfach nur logisch und sinnvoll dass alle spieler zusammen darauf einfluss haben.

ich mein's ernst
im Frustabbau-/Sorgenhotline-Forum würd' ich wohl sogar ne Gelbe für den Kommentar bekommen, aber da du hier postest und auch noch den tollen Freitag-/Montag-Thread raushaust geht das IMO schon klar
Wenn ich die Mail richtig verstehe beeinflußt deine Mausbewegung (zusammen mit der von allen anderen Spielern) die zufällige Reihenfolge des Decks, dass der Shuffle-Server gerade zusammenstellt. Das Deck mit dem du gerade spielst wurde aber schon wesentlich früher erstellt. In der Mail gibt es keinen Hinweis darauf, dass du die nächste Karte die an deinem Tisch gedealt wird irgendwie beeinflußt.
Anders ist es bei FTP wo permanent geshuffelt wird iirc.
