so instead of just shoving vs a reg here, i liked it better to raise small to induce some looser resteal, since even if i bet/call all in and am behind, result would be the same as if i just shoved, so i think this play is well??

imo
if u think he will resteal light raise call is best cos he will have a ton of Kx/Qx hands that u dominate in his resteailing range

if not imo shoving is best for balance and also he might fold some Ax hands too

It's often good to use different tactics so that u become harder to read. Ur thinking behind the action is solid so I like ur play in this spot.

Vs a reg I think with KQs even like limp/shove and limp/call is fine too and is sometimes more +EV vs certain players - but as default prefer ur line.

don't believe so, he's a reg. if he is a "reg" and folds a2o here then he is not a reg, he is a fish.

u mean restealing or pushing all in first in?

i'm pushing wider then nash too (but that doesnt necessary means that other villains r pushing wide range too) and i also know that A2 is ahead vs nash range
but my reasoning is that we shouldn't always call off and gamble depending of player field, cos we can have better spots and more +EV then calling off with A2 and being way behind or slightly ahead
tougher players are more slightly +EV edges we got to push, weaker field is we can pass on some slightly +EV spots imo

we should always call off a2 against tougher opponents, we get to cripple them which helps very slightly, we get more chips to resteal against people with and we are decently ahead against his range.
