Maybe just allow the discussion to flow Ingrid. We all want a say, I see now that you don't enjoy your opinions coming under scepticism.

I still don't understand. Look at fun and off topic thread, I'm even the one posting funny stuff for all you guys out there, I really don't care about censoring and if anything, I always choose not to ban anyone. That is, if I have a choice.
But that you start a thread about me in my community where me and my team works very hard to create a healthy community and then you come at me with the most arrogant and offensive way and calling me names, like you know me?
I was advised to close this thread but as I said, I'm open to hear feedback and happy to explain situations. What you did was not fair.
I'm not talking about the German thread. You closed down my friends critique of player-stage based rigging in online poker.
You called his critique unjustified and criticised its legitimacy. I have a BMathSc and have completed my honours degree. I am currently undergoing a PhD study. My friend is also studying applied mathematics at the University of Sydney.
We are currently analysing the situation with the poker rooms and developing some evidence. You are unaware of the situation, don't rashly cancel threads. It is insulting and implies that our ideas are ridiculous and unwarranted. Have some respect.

I have a BMathSc and have completed my honours degree in applied mathematics at the University of Cambridge and also my PhD and I think you're silly boys to be rude to Ingrid. I'm sure she doesn't do things without a good reason. If you want to post some maths here, you go for it. I'll let Ingrid know whether she needs to close you down.

Then the right thing to do would have been to post the evidence! Not to embarass yourself with the ever so old "rigged" debate with NO evidence at all. If you guys are both such highly educated people then surely you also know that you can't present anything without underlying proof.

You 'regs' always ignore any critique of the poker system. I have no affiliation with the online poker industry but from what my friends have shown me there does seem to be some serious deviations from what is called 'EV'.
My friend is currently analysing the situation. We don't yet have any completly reliable evidence, only smaller sample size analysis.
I respect your knowledge and that you working on something which is probably come up in every poker players head but have you see the comments from users? We received 100's of tickets about how "poker is rigged" and I think we have many open threads about it on the forum. However the thread you and your friend made is full of with comments which isn't add value to it, is it? Unfortunately, many of these threads turn into flame war. I wanted to (for the first time) not let that happen again.
I just need you to understand that the community side of the PokerStrategy.com is also part of the big picture and even though I'm not against these kinda threads, I just like to show some respect towards our partner poker rooms and make sure we only start speaking of "topics" which we can also back up somehow. 888poker is also monitoring our forums so if you like me to open the thread and get someone to reply here (as you said you working together on evidence?) then I'm more than happy to do so.
I still don't understand why you made an offensive thread, you can simply pm me and ask me or even email me to discuss.
no need to muck anyone guys, this whole thread is just very sad and a really hard thing to look at when you responsible for a community and have to come to work to see your users calling you names.
