If the software is rigged, don't you think that 2+2 internet geeks wouldn't find it out? They are looking 24/7 to have some sort of conspiracy evidence through databases and zillion hand histories.

My opinion is reliable, as it is just an opinion. Yes, I make few bucks as a coach, but I also make few bucks as a player. I have been 1 outered, I have been 1 outing, and I would find it strange if that wouldn't ever happen. I mean, for every 100 occasions that someone has 1 out, he will hit it about twice. Now think how often someone has 1 out during the day in PokerStars? A lot. And how often someone hits it? A lot.

But anyway, I love my tin foil hat. If you or OP ever come to Finland, I will give you one (hand made). And that 80c transfer is still valid for OP.

I would personly would never believe that site which owners are wanted in USA for serious crimes as: money laundry, false documentation, corruption etc would ever do smth shady. First i do not say its rigged, it may be poorly programmed (but may be rigged, who knows). As a software developer i know how easily computer programs can be manipulated, so online poker rooms should be audited very strictly. In 2010 when people begin to ask pokerstars when there software was audited last time they had to admit that in was done in 2003. Also you are verry wrong about 2+2, not every 1 there believes about online poker fairness, 2nd if you really read 2+2 forum you should know that there geeks had found few anomalies in few sites. And that's keeping in mind that software audition has to be done not by amateur hobbysts but by real specialists controlled by the government

But we are talking about THE #1 site atm. No one is even near Stars, so why would they cheat in a matter that doesn't really affect their income? Of course someone now says that why did FullTilt do what they did, but that's a different story.

So I believe that Stars rng is same for everyone. They haven't coded any rigged stuff in it, so that someone loses 79 cents with quads on purpose.

Another matter is though if someone can "hack" it and have small or huge edge that way. Old saying "if man can build it, another man can break it" applies. That's what I would be concerned of.

But please. How can anyone actually believe in this "stars is rigged, I lost again!" stuff? I haven't won in lottery for ages, is that rigged too? But my family member got cancer, is life itself rigged? Is there a doomswitch somewhere?

I think these people need to grasp a reality of probabilities and randomness.

If that happened to you on any pokersite jackpot table.. i am sure then you would not be complaing about it like that. Some people sit to special table hoping to get beaten by this way

I had never claimed that any poker site is cheating, i just claimed that there is too little control in online poker. You know also that #1 poker room argument is not enough when #2 nd biggest room went down . IMO FTP, AP/UB stories shoved that to online poker players in the worst possible way. And what can we or 2+2 geeks can do know is only guess, is ps fair or not, is our money safe there or not.

sorry but took a little break as was really angry at variance. It was just a little rant as Pokerstars is the only room that i will always keep money in, since for me is the most trusted site and the best software. i know sometimes i am going to get things like this.
