Hi guys.

After playing on PokerStars for a long time, recently I decided to make a move and find a new poker site. Wasn't pretty sure which one so I tried with PartyPoker. I deposited 100$ about 2 months ago and I'm shocked how well I've been doing.
Mostly played HILO sh cash games (limits up to 0.5/1$) but also won a few PLO tournaments (really small sample - 20 tournaments, 6 cashes, 3 first places).

However, my question is:

I have a br of 2k $ now and I'm not sure what to do. I'm really interested in playing HILO sh cash games and later adding more PLO sh cash games but I'm not sure if PartyPoker is the right choice for me. If I want to play 6 tables I have to play at least 3 different limits (in the best case there are 3 open HILO tables per limit).

Are there any better options for me? Sites that have a bigger volume on HILO games? And possibly as soft as PartyPoker ♦ (I am really surprised with the amount of fishes there, after playing on Stars and FTilt for years, this seems like a playground )

And what are the sites (except PStars) with some big(ger) PLO tournaments? (Something with a guarantee bigger than 2k$)

Im sorry to say that besides Pokerstars, finding traffic for PLO8 is very hard for some reason. So the traffic you have so far at PartyPoker is going to be the second best.

The only thing that could change this is Mansions up coming 'Omaha push'. They are currently offering a higher VIP reward for Omaha players. There is enough action of PLO at Ipoker. The action looks lower at PLO8 though.

So what I would suggest is building your roll at PartyPoker until you have enough there to be comfortable, then moving $1k over to Mansion Poker. With this $1k you will qualify for a $2k first deposit bonus.

So what I'm suggesting is to try and have money on at least 2 rooms, that way you should be able to find 6 tables at all times.

Anybody knows where besides pokerstars, you can find good and atractive PLO tournaments?

The only PLO tournaments I know of personally are a nightly €10 rebuy on microgaming that is €1k guaranteed. Im a omaha fish and it felt very soft.

After a quick search I have found their is a limited selection of rooms for Australians. I see that you have a account on Poker770 on Ipoker.

While you may only get 10-15% rakeback from the VIP system, what I would suggest is clearing all the first deposit bonus's on the Ipoker rooms.

I would start with TitanPoker as they have the best FDB. It works out at around 52% rakeback and is 200% up to $2000. So you only need to deposit $1000 to get the full $2000 bonus.

Hi Rogbey,

You will be getting around 40% rakeback while you clear the first deposit bonus. On top of this you will receive 20% from the VIP system.

If you stay at the room for longer than 3 months you can expect returns of around 36% from the VIP system.

With FDB youll get 50% RB guaranteed at cake, and on top of that you get a few % from gold chips and gold cards, and maybe 5% from the rake race if you can place in it. Traffic should be enough to play 6 tables at all times, although occasionally a lot of traffic will be at 20bb-50bb tables. I found these fine to play though as often there are terribad fish and you get 100bb deep vs a lot of the table fairly quickly anyway. Just make sure you work a little on how to play vs small stacks.

Sometimes the games will be reg infested and other times heaving with fish, but thats the same as everywhere.

Right now I see 10 nl10 100bb SH tables running and 7 nl20 sh 100bb ones at cake.

Ive not played at WPT, but I have played at pokerheaven. You will get 30% rakeback and the competition is generally very very soft. However, theres no 6max, (instead there's 5max) and the software is downright abismal. You have a short time to make decisions and theres no timebank so if you multitable its very easy to time out a lot before you get used to it.

I'm used to play on Boss (paradisepoker) so it wouldn't be a problem at all ... However, the PH seems not great because of the FDP (first deposit bonus and microstakes at poker heaven)
seems like it's very hard to clear it ... Therefore, I'm still not sure ... What do you think about the William Hill? ...

Btw are there any problems with HEM1/2 on cake?
