i deffo need to read your blog..

When you were in massive grinding mode did you played stack or tile?Now that you reduced your tables do you play stack or tile?If you played both which format do you think is better and why?

Back at FT I played tiled 8 games, sometimes 10. At Stars I started playing on 4 stacks - early games/6-5handed/bubble/ITM or sometin like that. With increasing volume I played only on one stack, it is most effective, u dont loose any second, u dont tilt, u basically start to be a machine. I did put aside table with HU from time to time or some spot I wanted to make note or so..
Playing tiled for long period is very hard, it makes your eyes tired, your neck, you loose valuable seconds here and there, u take too much focus somewhere and miss spot anywhere...
Now even when am playing like 12 tables or so, I still have them stacked and only put aside some interesting bubble for notes or HUs or higher limit game...

I will add sometin - I table select as much as possible, so I have stacked tables, pokerstars lobby and maybe some HU aside...it is already like 3 spots am focusing at...plus table counter at HEM from time to time...I think there is more value in tableselecting well thn havin another stack. Also I think u ll train yourself with higher volume to super quickly read the table and your situation.

Isn't it hard to remember all the postflop plans you have? You don't get to a lot of potential reads, etc? You can play 12 tables on 2 standard full hd monitors very easily without any trouble to your body, eyes, etc. For >12 I agree that stacking is nessecary but up to 12 I'm not sure.

OK, it is obvious that when you have less tables and you stack them, you have less reads/notes on players than if you tile them. BUT. I dont note any fish play from unknows/fishes...Table popup, I see some 45/8 stat early game, 20 hands, I mark as a fish and that s it. I dont care ih he I dont know check called A high on the river 446KK against some other player and so on - I like to say that fish is a fish, you can expect anytin. Against the regs - I said I put aside table when for example I might be called bvb by reg, just to make sure he hasnt some weird mood this day or session and isnt too light or so...I study regs after session in HEM, SS, but lately I can read their style pretty quickly, it probably comes with some skills.
For the postflop plans and so on. I dont think that you will be on many flops at same time when 12 tabling Maybe on two, three at best, rarely. And another thing - I do still the same things - when I openraise, I openraise the same amount...bvb I dont do limp/stab I raise/fold, early I might limp only small pairs...rarely there is some spot to 3b light against the reg or something like that or some nice postflop situation with reg, I put it aside or Ijust remember very easily, coz it is special situation.
When I was 20tabling I know I did forget for example to stab when I limped...or sometimes I forgot I raised pre and didnt cbet or sometin, I didnt get best value from some monsters, but I did concentrate on these in January and I think even if I 20table now I dont miss much. And ofc it is about your hourly, you dont care that much about small miss, you still make more money thn 12tabling with slightly higher ROI....
I did try two monitors, hate it...I hate sounds in PS, I dont wanna look around the monitors and find the active table, dont wanna run out of time anywhere and so on...It is pretty ABC, I only put aside interesting bubble = short or bigstack not to forget abuse or look for spot to shove...HU to play welll postflop...sometimes bvb reg situations...thats all.

It is hard to explain, but now it is like that for me - table popups where is the flop (so I had to put some money in pre or am on the BB). I see my cards, my postion and pot size and I super quickly know if I raised, if I ws on BB and someone limps...if it is multiway and so on...it is ...it popups and I know what happened pre...

OK am gonna seriously analyze it. It is obviously very bad call of yours, even if he had any two it is like -0,55% if u cal this, no mention u lose the bigstack on the bubble, so for future game even worse.

If u were minraising him a lot and u noticed he started 3b shovin u super wide (that would be nice adjust from him), u can ofc call him lighter but not that wide. And this isnt the spot I would like to show him I can call him wide and readjust, on this bubble I would simply use my stack and shove any two at him and look for other spot to raise/call him lighter.

So if he is calling your shove with around nash, your shove is very nicely profitable.
If he is 3b shoving you super wide, your raise/folding is super unprofitable and therefore out of option.
If u want to exploit his light 3b shoves in this spot, u should do that with hands that will gain your more tournament equity than by simply shoving. (If you have AA and openshove at his nash calling range u gain 2,5%, but if u minr/call him coz he is 3b shovin atc, u gain 6,4% and so on; raise calling with 33 gains u1,24%, but open shoving gains u 1,62%!!!)

I think u see my point, this isnt good spot to show him u readjust to his adjusting to your wide minraisin range Not with this hand and not even with hands that would be great for it, but on the bubble when u have chiplead...

There was no logic to the call mate, other than my Phil Ivey instinct tellng me he had 8 high

This month was another unique month. My volume sucks, my run sucks, my EV is nice, my time spend on coaching and my nice staking efforts are nice...:) I spend also lot of time with my family, maybe I finally relaxed, so I can make nice volume next month and half before I go to Vegas.

Here is the graph (postin EV also even tho I dont think it is super accurate coz of bounties, I actually think it should be even higher, but u get the point am running pretty bad now):

I played some 18mans 15$ also to make more tables when KOs dont load and to get some sample in them for further use. I kinda like them and they open even at HS, so we will see, I think u need to master more formats thn one to have some volume at HS. I have around 15% ROI after like 80 games, meaningles sample.

I cashed in 100k freeroll for 42,50...and BoP once for another 50. Lost few bucks in some MTTs for fun, small stakes.

As I said, my horses are runnin nicely, so even the small amount of my profit am pretty happy and can survive this month ♦

I see now, great answer. I will definitely try this way if/when I move to Stars. Now my games end up 1-3 bb at the bubble so it's very important to spot which fish loose their patience, don't call clear pot odds, etc.

And about forgeting to stab after limp or cbet after raise - those are actually my criteria that I'm too tired and need to stop playing. ♦

Even though you are a pro,because you make this for a living,your volume is really bad.I believe it is because you pressed yourself too much to reach supernova but of course it was priceless.Keep up the good work

what's the highest stakes these KO STTs run ?

Volume, volume, volume...I know guys. Thing is that after like many many months after FT shutdown I made some nice money and I also decided to spend them a bit and live, u know. Buy something nice to my babes, be with them a lot, go for some one day trips...visit my parents...these things I totally fucked on durin my SN challenge, but it was acceptable coz I needed to make sure I can beat 9mans at stars and therefore be a pro longer
So I know it sucked, but it also helped a lot, I feel fine, I made looot of reads, improved my game, table selection and everything and after one shitty month like that I have back my motivation to put more volume and grind nicely.
U know it is also that - I ll be off for two months in Vegas, from my family that means everytin to me - I wanna be with them as much as I can...

For the stakes of KOs - pretty sucks, very low volume of 30s turbos, super low of 60s turbo and like almost none at 100-200s. But if u see some opening, dont hesitate and jump in (For the normal speeed, little bit better volume, but also better players).

if the 100s+ load i'll definitely look out for them in the lobbies. bounties really add a nice strategy to the game. I think you have a really good idea of the correct KO strategies MilanBurdych. Its a shame they dont run higher more often.
