It is still beta not released for everyone. I checked the Pt site and still can't buy it. I mean I didn't like PT3 but PT4 from what I saw seem to be a big improvement so would deffo buy it but I don't need PT3.
For me right now it is:
HM1>PT4>PT3>>>>>>HM2>Elephant
SO given that soon HM1 won't get any updates (it doesn't get them even now that much) I will be forced to switch and as it seems I will just buy PT4

Started playing ZOOM for a first time. Seems to be fine. At this point the ZOOM games are way more juicy than standard tables, dunno why so I will stick with them. As soon as I will run better Ev wise it should be fine. Games don't seem to be tough at all.

I am serisously pissed on myself. Nothing tilts me more than letting nit fish to play profitable. Clueless 11/8 float my squezz for setmining and I paid him off.
Seriously sometimes I play like the biggest donk. Instead of thinking "hey has been loosing for like 2 years and is rakeback whore don't level yourself you idiot". " I think "it is perfect card for him to bluff" while he never bluffs there in reality

Been super busy grindin' I haven't checked your blog in forever! I'm glad to hear you're not giving up on stars, you should be a supernova. The zoom is great! Best ever. I think I've won a stack at every level to nl100 except nl5 and nl10 where I donated to some guys. Haven't noticed them being any softer than normal tables, although I am a bad player. Must wait until I can figure out some better HUD support and am very excited about PT4. Must buy. PT3 IMO is still currently the best and more stable over HM2. On your last hands, all I can say is FYL lol. Keep grindin' and stop paying nitfish! (me guilty as well)

Yeah I planned to PM you cause you haven't post here for a while and you are the only one posting here regulary except for me,lol
When it goes to playing at Pokerstars I seriously don't know. Lately I have been playing really good poker, smart and aggresive but at some point it is just too much. Since February I have been running like 40BI below EV and counting. I don't know even what to say.... You know when you pay really good but you can't win anyway.
It is not even about loosing 70/30 or whatever but I never cooler anyone if I have like 30/40% equity I am loosing.

Last 2 session on ZOOM were really bad cause it is just too much. I don't know how much more I can handle. I don't want to end my stakind deal before but if it won't stop it is my last 100k hands on P*. No more bulshit.
Some people are probably laughing now cause I am still winning like 2bb/100 but life time I am like 8bb winner same Ev wise and I have been winning pennies for last two months on P*.
Seriously I moved to full ring games to avoid vairance and this happen???
I mean it is pretty much the same what happened to me when I was playing sh. So Id rather stick with SH games on Micro with 50% rakeback instead of playing on Jokerstars hoping that at some point they will stop fucking my ass so badly.

After playing really bad at least I got some ideas how to improve after reviewing my session.
1) don't do huge moves OOP (especiallly vs unknowns)
2) at this point 3 barell bluffs without equity are hugely -EV for me (simply people don't fold)
3) that is counter intuitive but the more I think about it the more I aggre with it (thanks Mr.Bad Guy).
Most of the money in ZOOM same as it was in RUsh (at least up to nl100) come from folding. So it is all about folding better than your opponents.
There is really no reason to be paranoied just people don't bluff all that much.
4) nits always have what they represent

Since you've run below expectation so much, what's going to happen when it evens out and you run way above expectation? You'll be the one coolering everyone everytime. It happens. Usually a player will just chalk it up as awesome play:) As far as your points on your session review go, I'd say yeah why the hell are you doing moves OOP vs unknowns? Obviously dangerous.
What seems counter-intuitive to you, seems pretty intuitive to me, and that is no1 folds. I personally don't ever find myself doing 3 barrels missed in full ring games. Rarely. And nits are what they are. Don't let them pwn you.

I can't stop tiltitng. Played really badly today lost like 5BI combined.
The biggest problem I have is with shitty clueless regs. That's the thing you know the aggro spewy retards.
Just from today lost 2 stacks to player like MatejM47 who lost like 1k$ in almost milion hands according to PTR or Sahar0g who called me down on Kxxx with JJ who is 0.5bb/100 winner on nl25. I play with those donks and they are doing profit from me. Not the solid regs clueless spewtards that can't win at poker.
I have completely no idea how to play vs bad regs. that's my biggest leak. Instead of tightening up I just do some random bluffs vs them or retarded calldowns (so I play on their level pretty much).
It so fuckin frustrating when you give action TAGfish and let the win from you.

Well, that's the zoom for you. I played about 10k hands a few days ago at nl50 6max 4-tabling and all I can say is these players are retarded and stars keeps fisting me. I was quite happily after 6k hands winning at like 8bb/100 and wasn't in particular getting good cards, the players just sucked. I stacked 4 guys for more than 200bb at a time. It is little wonder, they are horrid. Then.. in the next few k hands I lost like 20 F%$#ing stacks to fish suckout kings.

Every single time flopped set got crushed by lower set making quads, or idiot in BB CRAI flop with air and makes backdoor flush, that sort of ridiculous crap. Runner runner 4 flush here it comes, everytime. I actually got AA heaps and lost almost all of them HU v BB 3bet or my 4b. KK also kept losing to JJ and 1010 4 bet preflop. I flopped nut flush a few times and lost all of them AI...Every player playing retarded and unsophisticated, misreading my range entirely, 3 betting me lite, but always getting rewarded. So I will have a look at my game and range, there are some things I'm not happy with, but hopefully I just won't run so damn bad!! I hope this makes you feel good, as I'm sure it is quite amusing to others :)

Nah to be hones the whole fiasco with my play on P* helped me a lot. Besides my staking play I still play for my own money and I run really decent there. At this point P* is the only site I can't beat the games.
I decied to take couple of days break from P* just because even turning on this soft made me tilted.
Additionally I decided that I won't be playing ZOOM anymore at least till the end of the staking. There is no reason to play the game I can't beat.
Won't play as many tables too. Gonna start shameless bumhunting on P*. I mean I think that it is better option for everyone.

However if things won't change I will quit playing on P*. Simply if I can beat games elswhere with like 7bb+ and I am at this point maybe 4bb winner on P* (ev wise cause in reality it is like 1bb if anything).
At the end I do it for the money so no point in hurting myself playing on this rigged site more than I have to :f_biggrin:

Lol I'm not ever going to be bumhunting but there's nothing explicitly wrong with it. Stars is shafting me but I'm never one to give up and I WILL be a solid winner. At least that's what I tell myself. You play ongame huh? I'm not that happy with playing ipoker but the games have been very kind to me there. Tried some William Hill poker and the RB is generous.

You're right just to not play if you don't feel like you have the edge. I know that feeling of being somewhat tilted by turning on the software. I think whatever edge you might have had almost disappears when you feel like this. I do still think a player can play profitably playing up to 24 tables and I definitely think a player can 4 table zoom 6max with a solid winrate. IMO you will crush zoom50FR given enough time.

I currently play 888 network and just adding some tables from different network.
I have never been bumhunting in my life but art this point I need to start winning on P*. Just need to start with something and to be honest it is pretty standard on P* where players just insta leave when the mark leave or they button me and insta sit out their BB. So at this point being honorable on tables full of shameless bumhunters is pointless.

The funny thing is that I play really great on 888. Just switching helped my by itself. New opponents, different tendencies, less tables (you can play only 8 tables max). It makes me playing a lot better.
Sure I have to grind way more to get the same volume but still. I don't miss P* at all at this point.
However I still have staking deal on P* and I want to finish the 100k mark till the end of April then I will decide what to do but at this point don't really see any advantages of playing on P*.

There is a huge difference between Table selecting and bumhunting. For example when the shitty reg (mostly Russians or Spanish Regfish) sit at the table and insta sit out. So basically he/she is table blocking and waiting for fish.
It is really shitty and poor behaviour.
Same for staring the tables, they never ever start the table but as soon as reg start and fish sit in they fight for the Jesus seat.
Same for buttoning or grimming. The shity behaviour scares the fish away from the games. It has nothing to do with "table selecting".
If you believe that fish don't see what is going on you are retarded.
Seriously table blocking and other stuff has nothing to do with table selecting.
you are destroying the game for everyone else for few free bucks.

Table blocking is something else, not bumhunting.. it's... well, table blocking!

I guess we understand bumhunting differently:
- I understand it as trying to play with the worst players possible as much as possible;
- You understand it as.. table blocking?!

Sure, some go as far as table blocking when bumhunting but that's their poor behaviour.

This problem is more common on Party and smaller networks from what I've seen because there are less fish and regs fight over them, while on Stars you usually find a table with at least one fish on it. The downside is that Stars' regs are way better on average.

That's what I actually like so much about the Zoom/Rush poker format. Fish are constantly brought to your table and play many hands. When you bust a fish on regular table there's a good chance you spend the next 10 minutes looking for another table with a fish. That's just wasting time imo.

As a side note, when I was playing at Party I never had problems with regs not giving up the best seat. That's because I knew they are trying to play the fish so I was constantly pounding on them until they either spewed and turned into bad aggressive players or they tightened up so much I had the fish all to myself. :) Unfortunately, when they spewed they ran like Gods! :f_biggrin:
