You have 9BB and you are heads-up, you can push any Ax hand here and it will be a good push and it's not matter what VPIP he has , you just got unlucky here to running into a pair, most times he would fold.

In HU any Ace is a push if i have less than 12bb, and in HU stats don't matter so much, couse you can pick up his playing style very fast and can give you better understanding of his play, than stats.
