Hi Klemjac,
I would refer you to the previous post, I think Titan Poker would suit you well. Their first deposit bonus really helps when it comes to building a bankroll!
Best of luck

Hey, I'd like to refer a friend and I'm wondering where should he start playing since I'm not really familiar with micro stakes.1. Which game type you play? SnG
2. Which limit do you play? 1$, lower then that would be great while I teach him play, so maybe 0.5$ or lower if that exists.
3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? I think 6-handed would be better, but wouldn't mind 9 handed.
4. How much do you play? Perhaps 1-2 hours a day
5. How many tables do you want to play? 1-2 for starters, up to 5-6 when he gets into it.
6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? I think he'd be happy with shooting for 5s at some point
What's really important, he needs a room:
1) where 1s (or lower) have a low rake. 10% or lower
2) which have good VIP system or similar which would give him some boost to keep him up in case he doesn't start good.If that cash-back could be payed as often as possible in smaller chunks, that would be great as well. So he doesn't go busto before he gets any cash-back.
Quoting myself, since I got skipped.
Hi VladimirN,
Sorry for missing you out ♠_cry:
I think the best room for your friend to play while learning would be Titan Poker.
The reason I recommend them is because of the good traffic for the micros and they also offer a 200% first deposit bonus. I presume if your friend is going to play $1 SNG's he will start with around $50's? So this will give him a $100 bonus to clear.
This bonus will clear at 52% rakeback!
One thing I would suggest is taking part in the free $50 from Titan Poker. The details for this can be found here.
Best of luck to you and your friend
Callum
Hey, thanks for your help but rake on these is insane. I don't think I could beat those with 20% rake, let alone a learning player. He definitely wants to go to Titan when he gets to 5s though.
So, is there any other site?
If we are looking for sites with the lowest rake then Everest or Pokerheaven are going to be best.
They both have 10% rake for the $1 SNG's
The VIP system wont be so rewarding for a micro stakes player on Everest.
Pokerheaven have 30% flat rakeback, the downside is that the SNG's on Pokerheaven are in euros, so its effectively a $1.30~ SNG
Have you considered HU SNG's they offer the lowest in terms of rake? Most as low as 5%
1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)
SnG
2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)
1$ SnG
3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
Full ring
4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)
4h per day
5. How many tables do you want to play?
Currently 4 tables, but want to get to 6
6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
Make money so I can withdraw some of them monthly.
Hi there!
I am currently playing NL10 SH BSS at Pokerstars but the account is not tracked to PS so I want to change, because recently I am more interested in learning some more stuff and I guess I need higher status for that. I dont play that much actually, just like maybe 500-1000hands per day(not every day, maybe 4-5 days) And my goal is actually to start playing more and understand the game better...playing like 4 tables max because I played tiled. Sometimes I also enjoy playing only MTTs
which software is for me?)

I generate ~1200$ / month
5. How many tables do you want to play?

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
To raise my bankroll ASAP. Generally, to move up to NL100. So, I need a comparably soft player pool or good FDB / rakeback. Maybe a combination of two or a compromise.
Thank you.

Hi Ninuu,
As I have mentioned above Everest looks to be the best room for small stakes SNG players.
The reason for this is they have only 10c rake on the $1 games. Most other rooms charge 20c of rake.
This makes these games much easier to beat.
Best of luck

Hi Benaars,
If you want to unlock new content quickly then I would recommend playing at William Hill. They have the highest SP - $ rake. For every $1 rake you will get 5SP's. This will make it easier for you to access new content ![]()
They also have a 200% first deposit bonus that clears for around 42% rakeback. This means if you deposit $100 they will award you a $200 bonus to clear.
Hope this helps

Hi PkrPains,
If you are looking for soft games, from my own experience I would strongly recommend 888. When I played there I found the games well below par and a lot of fish too.
The downside with 888 is the lower rakeback. With the VIP system they give around 15% for a player raking like yourself. The first deposit bonus of $888 will add a extra 22% though.
The way I would look at it, if you are raking $1k a month. With just the VIP system you will get $150 rakeback. If you played at a room with higher rakeback, say Ipoker with 35% from the VIP system, you would be getting $350.
So from rakeback alone you would miss out on $200. What I would say though is that because the player pool will be softer, over that period you will have easily made the 4 buyins back from the softer games, if not more.
Best of luck
Callum

Hi Stranovsky,
I would also recommend 888 to you. They have some of the softest games going. They also have good traffic for microstakes fullring.
If your goal is to try and move up the limits quickly then 888 is going to be the best for you.
Good luck

Hey thanks for the answer, CallumN.
Do you know another room that has 10c of rake because everest is not available in romania through pokerstrategy ?
Hi Ninuu,
If you cant play on Everest then PokerHeaven will be suitable.
They also have 30% rakeback to help you build your roll.
The only difference is that PokerHeaven is in euros not dollars.
Let me know if you have any other questions
Callum
hey what room would you recommend to a complete beginner? depositing won't be a problem so not necessarily for the $50 rooms, just in general. i am trying to help my brother get started.
Hi DrDunne,
To be able to give you the best answer, what game type would your brother like to play?
How much would he want to deposit or what stakes would he like to play?
I think taking advantage of the free $50 would be very beneficial for a new player

sorry i should have said! i discussed it with him and we agree cash would be the way forward given the amount of resources on this site and also i play cash so it means we can discuss things. i guess he's willing to deposit ~50 - 100.
Hi DrDunne,
In that case I would suggest Poker770 and using the following link and going through the quiz on the right hand side.
This will not only give your brother access to the 5x$10 free $50 but also access to some quick training modules to help him get started.
Best of luck
Callum
1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)
NL cash
2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)
5NL with regular 10NL shots
3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
SH
4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)
About 30k hands/month
5. How many tables do you want to play?
6-10
6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
Progress up to NL50, if I can make that I might try HU.
Will add I have untracked accounts at stars and party, tracked at WH, poker770, 888. Dont like iPoker network much at all. Would love rakeback but that isnt essential. Has to be somewhere I can get tracked for higher statuses.

Yeah but unfortunately I cannot play William Hill in my country... at least when I press at the URL(William Hill) you placed here it says This page is currently not available in your country. Does it mean I cannot play William Hill from Denmark or it's just that I have to go directly to their website or smthng?
