I recently moved to a new site and had a job finding out who the good regs are. However, after reviewing some of the games, I came across some questionable plays. So I sharscoped them again, but filtered it for stakes and speed and found out that that some of the people who I initially thought were good sucked at turbos. For example, this guys stats are:
Since I'm only playing turbos, can I mark him as a "breakeven reg", or should I still leave him as a "decent reg"?

I will filter stats for stakes/type of SnG/last 6 months usually. If I don't get enough data than I try to get a general impression on that player based on overall SnG stats- winning/loosing player. I think that's a very solid point to begin with. However, 2k is not big enough sample, even on stars where blind level/pay out structure is super balanced.
If he's making bad plays, I will just mark his as a bad reg. One bad play doesn't make him bad though, we all make mistakes. So when you get the impression based on both reads and stats(sharkscope/HUD), you will have the answer.
I usually mark BE regs when they are from -1% to + 2%. Ok regs +3-5%. Decent regs +5-8%, very good regs- +7-8%+. These are all for midstakes on stars. +5% ROI is impossible f.e. on Ongame's turbo 10-player midstakes SnGs.

Games are very reg-fested + blinds increase every 3 minutes. Almost like a super turbo. Hard to gain a big edge. I don't think I've ever seen a reg having over + 1-3% ROI on the midstakes over a decent sample for the last 6 months.

Do u think this also applies for the party? is it also reg infested at the midstakes?

Thanx a lot kurrkabin! i currently play micro sngs at WPT where i do a lot better than stars but i havent problem with the traffic so far. Maybe because i only play 2 tables

Same on iPoker. I think I saw like 2 winning regs altogether and I play a lot. They are usually around -6% to 0%.
But does that mean they are all good regs or are they all bad regs?
I just got called by break even reg with J9 for 9 bbs in bvb battle. But I guess that's the standard there.
@ Nomboo, yup- they can be still winning if they get a good rakeb. Roughly, 70% rakeb f.e. give you about +7% ROI if you are running BE. So being minus 6%, will still add up to a small + winnings if you get highish rakeb. Which is definitely possible on the midstakes + on betfair if you are tracked to ps f.e.
