Kinda sucks to be running worst in my strongest game. Well, while it is my strongest game, I'm nowhere near the level I used to play and my current skill level could be named as mediocre at best. i used to be living from playing winning regs only, and now I can barely make something playing fishes. Maybe it's time to give up.

Eagerly awaiting for zoom to come out. ftp rush used to be a cash cow, so that's kinda one of my last hopes.

Anyway, enough of pussy talk. Given that stars introduced ZOOM NL10 today I decided to try it out a bit, warm myself up etc.

So I played few hours on NL10 6m zoom, and imo it's very very fishy. But I guess NL10 is supposed to be fishy anyway, just imo if I were NL10 reg I'd def grind the shit out of zoom especially now, until everyone is bored of trying it out and it get nittyer.

HEM1 doesn't import hands yet so can't post the retarded stackoffs ppl made. Anyway, from what I've seen so far, running few streets bluffs didn't seem to work well, nor did 4betting. However 3betting a bunch seemed to be working out fairly well, as well as stealing. So Imo, currently best adjustments might be to be somewhat overaggro preflop, and quite nitty postflop.

With nitty I obv don't mean wait for the nuts to stack off, ppl seem to be staking off with bunch of crap so just don't bluff much and vbet fairly thin.

Oh and open shove = premium for the most part.

Well hello there lads!

After having a failure of a month at cash games by failing a shot miserably I've got a bit demotivated and fed up with cash games. I'm not rly trying to improve at it, not reviewing my mistakes etc. And it rly feels like a huge deal to even make an hour long session.

So I decided to take a bit of vacation from cash and go donk around in sh%t and goes. I'm pretty damn incompetent at this format so it brings back the eagerness to learn the game that I had when I first started out playing poker.

There are few other benefits to learning this format too, like for example I'm pretty damn jealous of other lithuanians shipping SCOOP's etc so I think learning solid sng play is a first step to learning tournament poker so I could luck out a sunday mill or something once I finally get fed up with my cat and decide to sacrifice it to satan.

I currently can't rly afford to be unproductive and am aiming to be capable of making at least 1k/month from SnG's within a month. To keep my productivity levels up I'll update this blog daily w new goals for each day and results of the previous one.

So boring things short, goals for tomorrow:

[ ] 2k icm trainer hands after waking up

[ ] ~50+ SnG's

[ ] Try out 12tabling (curently 10tabling)

[ ] Review marked hands afterwards

[ ] 1k icm trainer hands before sleep

Daily goals.. some cools stuff, gonna watch this carefully.

What kind of ROI are you expecting to get 1k month? Is it realistic?

I'm honestly not sure about the ROI's. I'm not expecting to make 1k within a month, just become capable of making it.

I'd prob only need ~5-6$ hourly to be capable of making 1k+/month since SnG's seem to be easy to grind comparing to cash games because it's much more systematic. So imo it's all about how quickly I'll be able to perfect my icm skills.

I'll up the volume/tables as I improve obv.

Dunno how realistic it is, doesn't seem like something super hard but ofc I might be wrong. would be nice if more experienced sng player could correct me if it's actually rly hard goal.
