Giving up on flop is ok, just play safe and steady early on

I would personally play this pretty much the same way, although maybe with a slightly smaller cbet (1/2 pot) as there aren't a huge number of draws (flush draw for spades, but you have the A for a redraw if this completes on the turn, couple of gutshot straight draws).

I like the raise pre flop as this gets a lot of drawing hands to fold making your life easier post-flop.

After the UTG+2 calls and you don't hit on the turn I think check/folding was a good choice.

Postflop is good. OOP preflop I would just limp AJo, and raise 99+ AQ+.
