Hello All,
In the past I've been quite terrible at keeping up with any blog I've started. Most of the time I have no basis for starting the blog. No track record or tangable skill to stand on. Quickly these blogs have died with little (absolutely none) community notice.
So how will this one be any different? While I am still the same person with many of the same flaws, I have currently managed to play the poker I want, put in the study I need, and have a track record with the workout plan I am trying to attain.
So first off we'll talk a little about the workout plan and goals. Many of you have heard of P90x. Its a 90 day workout plan that is rather brutal. The upside is it gets you quickly to a athletic performance level that few attain.
In the past I have played and trained for at decent competative levels hockey, ball hockey, american football, rugby, basketball, and golf. All of these sports (mainly the first 3) where played at a decently high amature level. I like to think that if I grew faster than I did I would have been able to play some of these at a semi pro to pro level. At graduation I was 5'10 and ONLY 150 pounds. For those non North Americans that weight is ridiculously small for contact sports. Therefore I could never play at a serious level.
Anyways a year or so after highschool I had started growning and gaining a little weight. At which point I was quickly T-Boned going through a green light in my car. A serious car accident with serious injury. I had serious neck problems for 6 years. I still have some neck problems but I have found means to deal with the serious issues and can maintain a decent level of comfort.
Now. I have been out of shape for years at this point. I am now 206.6 pounds and have a body fat ration of about 28%. Terrible. Unhealthy. When I was younger I had 4% body fat. Thats what inactivity will do for you. I am the kind of person who has to jump into something hardcore. I need to keep myself on the edge.
Now, as for nutrition I am terrible at eating healthy. I recently read a article about Adrian Peterson, the Running Back for the Minnissota Vikings. The guy is in amazing shape but in the interview he told the reporter he often eats McDonalds for Breakfast/Lunch/and Dinner. He claims that anyone can eat anything as long as they are grinding out workouts harder than anyone else. This gave me hope. I love my ribeye steak or my burger or pasta. I cant constantly eat lean ground beef and raw veggies.
This is where this plan came from. Take a hardcore workout, make it even more hardcore, and then grind it hard. Now to preface this, I've been slowly building up over the last few weeks. I'm not just going to jump in and take it in the face. The plan is to take the P90x Program and make it double as hard. The end goal is to cut my body fat in half in 45 days. Hence the P45x. Here is the schedual.

If I pull this off it will be one of the most hardcore things I've ever done in my life. But the payoff for myself emotionally and physically will be massive. Also my wife will be happy :f_biggrin:. I'll be doing daily updates.
I will also be taking Calcium Pills and Lakotamine Pills for joint health. In the mornings I will be drinking an electrolyte Gatorade, pre workout I'll be drinking a pre workout Gatorade, and post workout another electrolyte gatorade. Other than that nutrition is a free for all.
Now to Poker.
Currently I've been studying HARD and playing pretty well at FLHM 6 Max. I love this game because there is always a right, a close, and a bad decision. Obviously you do not have time to equate this on the fly but making the best decision everytime is reasonable in the proper state of mind. I find in NLHM with different bet sizes I'm always outleveling myself. "In the past hes bet huge with the nuts, therefore when he bets small he'll be bluffing. I call. Oops."
Boomer's videos have been huge for me. I have always been a winning player at FLHM but his videos have been taken me to another level. I've taken good points out of a few of his videos each adding a solid winrate to my sessions.
The goal is to get goldstar on stars every month. This means I'll get Plat here. Other than that I just want to continue to improve and move up the stakes. Currently I'm playing .25/.50 and the goal is to move up when I've won 500 BB. Currently I've won 395.1 BB over the past week. I've also made some nice rakeback from the redeposite bonus and milestones at stars.
The roll started at $100.00 and now its up to $376.14. Not a bad start. Heres the graph and the next post will hopefully be an update.
