Nice result for second, none the less, even if you felt you deserved first, it's still a pretty solid return!

ok thanks.

I'm getting on for 2k 18mans break even, give or take now. In terms of time this is a week away from 3 months. I should most definitely have played more than 2k 18's in that time for sure but still, not nice! I am currently spending most of my time at the tables laughing my fucking head off like some hysterical serial killer. As river 2 outer after river 2 outer continues pounnnnnding away relentlessly...am close to becoming a jibbering wreck. The old keyboard took another smashing today, how I didn't A) smash it clean in half or B) cut my head open, remains a mystery.

Here's the highlight hand for the day. $3r 180.

Poker Stars, $3.19 + $0.31 NL Hold'em Tournament, 400/800 Blinds, 75 Ante, 9 Players

Hero (SB): 7,910
BB: 17,622
UTG: 7,227
UTG+1: 19,208
UTG+2: 3,381
MP1: 9,310
MP2: 3,724
CO: 33,673
BTN: 2,795

Pre-Flop: (1,875) 9♣ 9♥ dealt to Hero (SB)
7 folds, Hero raises to 1,800, BB calls 1,000

Flop: (4,275) 5♥ 7♣ 2♠ (2 Players)
Hero bets 1,600, BB calls 1,600

Turn: (7,475) 8♦ (2 Players)
Hero bets 4,435 and is All-In, BB calls 4,435

River: (16,345) 3♥ (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: 16,345 Pot
Hero showed 9♣ 9♥ and LOST (-7,435 NET)
BB showed A♥ 4♥ and WON 16,345 (+9,310 NET)

FUCKING YAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I'd love to spend a day with you watching you play. From a far corner obviously. Barricaded.

HAHAHAHA. I do have off days where it all gets on top but also some cool days where I act like it's water off a duck's back.

Despite being over 1.5 million chips down in EV and 200% down in bb/100 EV, I've still produced this in the last 11 days:

So today I went out and bought a moutain bike for £150 and plan on riding myself to the point of total exhaustion in an attempt to get fit. Let's hope I don't keel over.

I think posting these kind of graphs and moaning how bad you run is fucking offensive!

If I'd run to expectation in this sample it'd be at least 50% extra though :f_biggrin:

The little boost on the end is a tiny set of 23 9 mans yesterday which saw $580.

Nice results - as You said at Milan's blog - lot of mix, but i see you mostly grind 18m.

Thanks, yes I've been mostly 18-man for almost a year now but make the switch now and again to other games either because I feel like trying new 18m stuff out in other games, or mostly when running bad. Changing the games you play I have often found combats variance in a good way.

Nice, im stt grinder, mostly 15$ now, but i def want to switch to 18m this year. How did You learn game - lot of wizz/nash hours or coaching/vids?

You were in the STT's yersterday, think I raise folded to 2 or 3 of your shoves.

The OP probably says how I learned initially but in the past year I have improved through one or two top players helping out. imo the only way to learn to be good is through private coaching from good players. Videos and forums leave out a fair bit of very useful stuff that can add a decent amount of extra ROI to one's game. I also know wiz inside out yes, but deviate from it quite a bit. More in the sense of folding +ev spots.

What's OP?

You re right, also got not of You - 18m grinder :)
Now i think i understaand very well 9m games specyfic, know when to fold, raise, push, see a lot and have nice fundamentals in theory. I try few 18m and its totally different world for me now.

About private coaching its true. Recently i cope a lot with Milan and my game improved much.

STT players can usually make a pretty good transition to the 18's knowing ICM in the later stages, although 3 and 4 handed you'll find is way tighter than you probably realise so make sure to wiz lots of 3-6 handed stuff.

I know its really tighter, but push ranges are wider, esp with stack behind You, cause you always play at bubble.
And what about sFT - its all about cEV, right? So wider 3bet ranges, steals and resteals.

Checked Your stats at hem - nice aggro you are man ;)

Well I doubt push ranges are much wider 5 handed as chip leader than 4 haned in a 9man, but yes they are usually very wide meaning you can usually shove atc at bubble stage if blinds are right to do so. That's not to say it's correct to do so though. As I say I fold tons of +ev posts because it's simply +++ev to do so. It only takes one random with fishy stats to ruin any chance of pwning a bubble, unless you have such a massive chip lead that doubling someone hardly matters at all.

I feel like doing a few hh's for free. If anyone of maybe beginner to intermediate level feels like upping their game a touch, holla for a hh review or two :)

Would especially like 180m but pretty much any SnG is fine. Preferably with at least 10k games behind them, not total noobs.
