I had a night off Zoom tonight. Played three more HU SnGs with goldchess and won all three. Maybe I should have saved all that rungood for Zoom? It's now 5-4 to him with 10 more to play.

That is how we play. That is how we run. That is how we raise a Q on the door and we crush with a 9,8 low :f_cool:

I will be following.

[X] I approve of the mixed games discussion in this thread.

No doubt you'll sleep easier now.

By the way, how long do you give it till your cricket team work out they're winning all the time and then start self sabotaging?

We've won seven home series in a row for the first time ever. It's all not very English, and rather hard to get used to. What can you rely on if not the England cricket team's ineptness? The world's gone mad.

So we should now bet on England winning the Euros?

The football team is better paid, so I'm still expecting hilarious failure from them.

Congrats on the platinum and the comeback against GC.

I did start watching the Badugi - but I didn't have much idea and it was very dull. Though you both play very quickly.

England's cricket team, eh. They have started losing regularly abroad again, so I'm sure normal service will resume shortly. It was nice while it lasted though.

Pah, to football.

I have to get up early tomorrow to go to London and do my External Examiner thing, which means I may not play tonight, so that's pretty much it for May. I managed 38.5K hands, so I didn't quite make it to my planned 40K, although I did manage to get platinum status. I may play 1.5K hands tonight so that I can say I succeeded, but I'm not sure. I think I also played too many HU SnGs.......but they were so much fun.

Results wise, I seem to have NL25 under control, and running very well indeed certainly helps.

NL50, however, did not go so well. First shot I played badly. Second shot I ran badly.

I don't think the huge difference between these graphs reflects either a huge leap in difficulty from NL25 to NL50, although people do seem more agressive on NL50, or a huge fall in my standard of play, although I do think I was slightly scared money on NL50.

Next month I have to spend the final week in Mauritius so, given the difficulty I have motivating myself to play poker when I have the option of lolling around in the sunshine, I can't see me either playing 40K hands or remaining platinum (unless I stick with NL50 for a considerable chunk of June). So I will set myself the goal of 30K hands, and moving up to NL50 at 30BI for a 10BI shot (super nitty BRM for me).

Isn't mauritius in like Africa?

I thought the UK people were afraid of warm places? But yeah, I reckon lowering the volume goal might be useful with a week lost..

Going for holiday or work?

Midlife Crisis? What Midlife Crisis?

And yes, I am afraid of warm places, but I don't think it's too bad at this time of year.

Are you more aggro in NL50? I mean, like 3 barreling more than in 25NL and stuff, or do you play it the same?
