Interesting spot!

Im thinking what I would have done. And what type of hands would check raise on this flop. Yes perhaps a set, set of 6 or 8s? Queens not likely (but still possible). Maybe some type of drawwing hand?

Did you see him doing it more? Or what do you think about his preflop hand range from mp2?

I probably call his raise to see if he continuous and play fold/check behind on the turn but Im not sure if thats the right play.

Why pf a flat call and not a 3bet in position?

Im not that experienced yet so maybe someone else can help us out...

It was just second hand with him, so I don't know anything about his play, because of that I didn't 3bet. I think he's range on MP2 is wide, but on the flop it becomes very narrow. It is mainly sets, very strong draws like Ts9s, JsTs, maybe AsKs. But if he is a fish, then it can be anything.

Hello TheWinnerTakesItAll,

Doubt that we can do much there, I'd play the same way while his line is just super strong. Well played! If he really wanted to have some fold equity or play his draws more aggressively why didn't he just CB?

Best Regards.
