Hi,

The sites offered to me were; Titan, 770, Ladbrokes, Will hill, Betfair and Everest. I have poker accounts with the first 2, and sportsbooks accounts with Betfair, Ladbrooks and Will hill, this is because I do matched betting a lot! So would this affect me with the offer? I could use the Everest one, but they offer the $50 in chunks. If I did create a poker account with a site which I had an existing sportsbook account with and it turned out it didn't work would the starting capital be removed?

Thanks,

dmcrun

Looks like Everest is your option.

Any existing account, whether used for poker or sports betting will prevent you from claiming the $50 as this is for new accounts only. If you thought about setting up a second account at one of those sites, once the poker room spot this (and they often will) you'll likely lose both accounts and forfeit any cash you hold on that site. That isn't a great result for you because it then stops you both playing poker and sports betting on that site.

Everest is probably just as good as any site for beginners so my personal view would be to just go with that.

Best of luck and make sure you use the resources available on PokerStrategy.com - it's pretty solid stuff for getting you game on the right track.

Hi dmcrun!

Waiboy already gave you a brilliant answer!

But I don't see what the problem is with Everest. Yes you get the money in increments, but thats to protect yourself from nog busting it at once. If you get it in increments you have to stick to your bankroll management which is very important for beginners.

If you have any other questions, don't be afraid to ask them!
