Pretty bad down swing the last week dropped about 60BI ;( Started sweating a little thinking I might go broke ?( Seem to be on the come back the last 2 days though picking up about 20BI

Picked up a couple HH reviews from dangermowse as well, which helped my game quite a bit, the guy definitely looks at the game a lot different from most regs, so a shout out to dangermowse for the generous offer

So with June just around the corner time for some goals :f_grin: My plan is to play something like 25 days a month with 5 - 6 days off every month, depending on the month obviously. No set days off so if I feel like taking a day off or something comes up Il just take 1 instead of having certain day off etc.

If I dont use up the number of days off for the month I can save them for later, a holiday or whatever so I stay on schedule cos probably gonna shoot for supernova before the end of the year

June Goals

Poker

[ ]2k games
[ ]Platinum on stars
[ ]Platinum on PS
[ ]3 hours study a week(poker)

Life

[ ]Maintain Gym 4 days a week
[ ]HIIT running 2 days a week
[ ]7 hours sleep a night + up before 11am

Summer Goals

[ ]Book trip to family in London
[ ]Book Summer Holiday
[ ]Find new Apartment
[ ]Get that bachelors degree

Not a major achievement for most sickos around here but a milestone for me none the less, hit the 100 games mark yesterday, most volume put in a 24hr period yet.

Did some calculation for Supernova and I need just under 84k vpp so 13,750 games at the $15s or 2.3k games a month if I plan on finishing in December. I plan on having some buffer and not finishing up at the last minute, ideally sometime in November.

Gonna invest in a new laptop in the coming months as this one seems to be on its way out soon, along with a new monitor. Currently multi tabling 9 tables and Im pretty sure I could up that to 12 with little effect if any on my game. Also plan on mixing in some $30s in the coming months so these should help me to supernova at a quicker paste. The main goal though is to keep improving my game and moving up the ladder,so Supernova is always second priority over improvement, but I cant see why both are not achievable

Nice to see you've played a fair bit since receiving new strat ideas and you're on 13% for the sample :P

If you're upgrading the machine you should 100% get an SSD drive. It speeds things up massively, especially HEM. It will churn out all your report stats ever in about 5 seconds as opposed to 5 minutes!!

Damn has it really been this long :f_eek: lol. The last couple of months of poker have been pretty average, was running pretty bad and slacking major when it came to volume, that is until October hit! Had my biggest winning day to date as can be seen in the graph. Not too shabby aye. _biggrin:

Spoiler

September Graph.

Spoiler

October Graph.

Mostly playing the 30s 18mans mixed with the 15s for volume at the moment. Hopefully be mixing in some 60s as well in the coming months. Not much poker played the last week as I hit the big 21 last Thursday and only activities I participated in involved mainly drink. :f_thumbsup: Well after nearly a week long drinking binge with great company, back to reality. Been working on my game a lot the last few months with quite a bit of help from yours truly Dangermouse, which is much appreciated. _biggrin:

My goal is to reach Supernova before 2013 or before the world supposedly ends (whichever occurs first). :f_rolleyes: I still currently need 45,000 vpp. For my standards a pretty big grind but well do able. I earn 6.11vpp for the $15 18 mans and 12.21vpp for the 30s to give you an Idea what Im dealing with here.

Im no longer in college as I have to repeat 2 exams next May to get my degree. I originally failed the exams but had an option to repeat them again in September but missed them, long story really, so poker can be my main priority. Only other obligations are gym 4 days a week and I also took up kicking boxing a couple months back which is twice a week.
I will also be playing my first somewhat major live tournament next month The Celtic Poker Tour 100k guaranteed which takes place in Clane(outside Dublin) on the 9th. BI is €120 which isn’t too bad. Will be heading up with 2 or 3 friends.

Stay tuned for regular updates(hopefully) _biggrin: on my journey to Supernova.
And so the grind begins. :]

Every Sunday I play all tourneys for a change mixed in with some 180s BI usually anything from $5 to about $30. A few satellites for bigger BI are usually thrown in for good measure as well. Yesterday I managed to sat into the big 109 and also the sunday million.

Busted the 109 not too deep getting KQs in the BB in vs the BU AJ for about 11BB. Managed to make a deep run in the sunday million finally busting a pretty depressing 157th place with this hand. _mad: Villian was a pretty aggro fish raising a lot. I had got a double up earlier off the same player when he R/C with A7o in the CO for 12BB.

2nd deep run in a number of weeks as I also busted 38th in the hotter $16.50 2 weeks ago. No time for self pity though as this wont get me to a final table, _cry: so off to the gym and back on the grind later before I throw in a session in kick boxing later tonight.

In other news I payed for my celtic poker tour ticket last thursday. Had to drop into the pub to pay for the ticket and there happened to be a game going inside for 25 with 1R or 1A. Sitting with a load of old drunken men on the table. One dribbley fool every so often decided to dribble in my general direction when he would talk. _o: This made me think twice of ever playing live poker again. Well a number of hands later and one dribbley fool less on the table I finally managed to make it heads up busting 2nd for €150. So I will basically be free rolling next week at the tourney :f_love:

Well I ended up busting in the Celtic poker tour. There were 2 - 3 good players on my table and the rest were pretty much calling stations and fish. Busted JJ AI for 18BB on the flop running into 2 pair. Decided to play some live 200NL cash as I was the lucky one to bust out first amongst my friends. Bought in for 60BB as I only carried a few hundred up with me. The standard of play was pretty shocking to say the least. Play was something like NL10 online, just too juicy.

There were maybe 1 or 2 solid players at the table. People were straddling nearly every hand, and there were also a few hands with people double and even triple straddling. Hey more dead money in the pot for the taking right? Was fortunate to pick up some chips flopping 2 pair and also a set early in the game to pick up some chips.Ended up playing for about 4 hours and finally left at about 3:00am with nearly 400 in my pocket.

Off too play a few tournaments for the day on stars. Hopefully some nice updates later
