Like I said, 10 hours of A game > 30 hours of C game!

You coaching style (annoy the shit out of someone until they finally sigh and give in) is surprisingly effective.

Not to mention that the video earned should be arriving!

Yes, that's a success. TT called me a RB pro, but I'm used to it. I did used to be a shortstacker after all! And I got the video. :f_love:

Except he is writing a book on NLHE with TT so he can't play what he feels like whenever he feels like if he wants to finish that book while earning some nice holiday money for his family.

FYP. I think that's what you meant.

Thanks. I stand corrected. Although we are planning to watch the new Mission Impossible film, probably with lots of beer. I do, however, note that you haven't answered my first question.

Well, what with solid coaches equipped to staying at a club more than one season being thick on the ground, sounds like a solid decision.

BTW, seems weird that espn is now the go to site for soccer (sic) updates.

Yes. Madness. And yes, epsnsoccernet is a surprise. I remember when it was just soccernet.

I'm experiencing a strange blogging reluctance at the moment. I keep thinking of interesting things to write here, and just can't be arsed to do it. I even have a poker/maths idea I want to write about, but can't seem to get round to it. I think I've managed to cope with the whole 'bouncing up and down between NL25 and NL50' thing pretty well, but the result is a sort of blogging ennui that I can't shake off. Mind you, I did get quite drunk and play some more NL50 a couple of nights ago. Ofc I made a profit, but sober reflection suggests it probably wasn't a terribly good idea.

I've been just lolling around the house today while it pisses down outside, and decided to play some Badooogi (8max, not HU). Not sure why. I just fancied it. I was doing OK, but had a 'can't be arsed to put on my reading glasses' fail (notice the theme of this post?).

PokerStars | Limit Badugi Cash - $0.25/$0.50 - 4 players
Hand #82026186899 - delivered by Pokeit

BTN: $24.86 (99.4 BBs)
UTG: $4.91 (19.6 BBs)
BB: $9.75 (39 BBs)
Hero: $14.75 (59 BBs)

Deal: ($0.35) Hero is SB with 4♣ A♠ 5♥ T♠
UTG calls $0.25, BTN folds, Hero raises $0.25 to $0.50, BB folds, UTG calls $0.25

Draw One: ($1.25) (2 players) 4♣ A♠ 5♥ 4♦
Hero discards Ts, UTG discards 2 cards
Hero bets $0.25, UTG raises $0.25 to $0.50, Hero raises $0.25 to $0.75, UTG raises $0.25 to $1.00, Hero calls $0.25

Draw Two: ($3.25) (2 players) 4♣ A♠ 5♥ 4♦
Hero stands pat, UTG stands pat
Hero bets $0.50, UTG raises $0.50 to $1.00, Hero raises $0.50 to $1.50, UTG raises $0.50 to $2.00, Hero calls $0.50

Draw Three: ($7.25) (2 players) 4♣ A♠ 5♥ 4♦
Hero stands pat, UTG stands pat
Hero bets $0.50, UTG raises $0.50 to $1.00, Hero raises $0.50 to $1.50, UTG calls $0.41 ALL-IN

Final Pot: ($9.91 | rake $0.16) (2 players)
UTG shows J♣ A♦ 4♠ 3♥ +$5.00
Hero shows 4♣ A♠ 5♥ 4♦ -$4.91

I don't know what's funnier, the fact that I thought I had a 5-Badugi, or the fact that he was prepared to keep capping with a J-Badugi. Tragic.
