opinions about zoom

fish are still tighter overall
besides the advice already given i'd recommend you to color code everyone you see with <90bb and <40bb stacks these guys are more likely to do random bs and stack off top pair and etc ♦
there are some random 50bb regs but you'll notice them soon enough

Zoom... love / hate it verry much.

Bad beats flying around as if its nothing while i only dealt 1 bad beat to some1

Cant beat Nl2 2.3 bb/100 and dropping fast .... people with 10bb/100 must be the biggest luckers in the world cause i cant explain it otherwise.

Gonna say it one more time. No matter what you do your edge at Zoom will be lower than in normal games. Lower edge = lower winrate = higher variance.

Taking notes etc to gain an edge? No its not enough to compare the edge you have on a regular table where you can select your fish to be right of you so you can eat 'em.

The only reason to play Zoom is volume. So conclusion:
Zoom: higher volume, lower winrate, higher variance
Normal: lower volume, higher winrate, lover variance

Which to play? The one that gives us the most $/hourly obv

why would you have a higher variance at zoom?

i guess it's because of more coolers and lower edge. lower edge doesn't actually impact variance, but it does make the swongs feel harsher

so true,my session yesterday -nl10- first lost 20 then won 30 then lost 70 and after that won 80,played for about 4 hours in total

All interesting stuff! I'm considering make the switch to zoom because I just think at the micro's the more hands I can play, the better and the quicker I will move up the limits? (quicker as in real time, not amount of hands)

Zoom is a nightmare. Its like a nonstop matrix of bullshit. I like the point about winrate/hourly rate/edge.
I would rather have the biggest edge myself. Edge>all. No zoom for me. I moved my roll to partypoker. Please dont introduce zoom party...please.

i agree with you. i'm not a fan of zoom at all. it's an awesome idea but the game feels so different. i prefer to identify some fish and just sit and play hands against him which is more difficult on zoom. but i think once you become really competent at the game zoom would probably be really good and profitable!

I think that bigger edge is on regular tables, but zoom has one big advantage - volume. For lazy players, like me, it's opportunity to put in decent volume which I wasn't able to do on regular tables.

I don't like playing more than 8 tables. I start to play nitty.

yeah but at zoom most of the players play nitty too and you cant spot out the fishes easily cause u get no sample of them. atm i play 16tables+ and its way better than zoom
