Hey guys, whats new,

Back from holiday and it was great. Coron is a really nice place to go. Naturewise its absolutely beautiful. Its hilly, very green, lots of nice diving spots etc. Partywise its obvisouly a dead place but once in a while its okay to go to a really relaxing place and just enjoy life.

Some pics:

First sunset at Coron, with minor paint correction

First evening we also discovered that they held the annual bikini summit! Such sick rungood

Pics of island hopping day

Next day we hired cross bikes (although I never rode a bike before ) to go around the island and that was actually pretty sweet.

We went to the 7falls. On each fall you could jump to the lower lake which was pretty amazing. They werent particularly high tho, this is the highest one, around 6-7 meters

On saturday it was time to go to Manila. Our friends there arranged a sick party night in all the best clubs of Manila. We would get free entrance and allowance in the VIP area with hot models. Unfortunately there was a small typhoon in Coron and the plane was not allowed to depart so we were stuck for a night. Tiny rage moment. That evening we killed the time by drinking Tanduay rum and singing karaoke. It turned to be a rly nice evening anyways.

No pics from Manila cause there is just not so much to see there. Its a city, there are nice restaurants and nice clubs. Nice to hang out in but meh didnt see any noteworthy pic material.

We saw two movies in cinema: MIB III and Promotheus. DONT WATCH ANY OF THEM. Unless you like plotless action movies.

Now back in Cebu and we decided to make a small bet to increase our workload. 100 hours by the end of the month, which was at that time 20 days. Not that impressive but for a lazy fuck as me, its pretty tough.

Fortunately Stars send me on a heater and im already $7.5k up in the first 4 days _biggrin:. Playing PLO200-400 now, mostly 6max since HU action is still terrible. Will mix in some juicy 600 tables in from tomorrow and 1k+ next month :f_biggrin:.

Anyways later guys

I always love your trip reports with pictures... But they make me so crazy jealous, at the same time!

As if The Avengers, the by far highest grossing film of all times, wasn't a plotless actionfilm with absurd budget for CGI?

As most of you might know already, another poker house is founded in cebu with vonki&wasy&robin&etc. Couple of days ago we had a nice bday party with them :f_cool:. If you want pics, better look at their blog, there should be some because vonki was using the camera if i recall correctly. One of our house members got pretty drunk but at least he shipped the 1k drinking bet :P. Our house also managed to win in beer pong :f_biggrin:, unfortunately i betted on the other house :f_eek:.

BTW..

!! Creative ideas for house to house challenges are always welcome :f_p:!!

What about go karting in a few days. Each house sends 3/4 guys. We'll figure out a score system and then we're off :f_cool:

Something like:
1st: 10 pts
2nd: 7pts
3th: 5 pts
4th: 3 pts
5th: 2pts
6th: 1pt
7th: 0pts
8th: 0pts

Challenge accepted, fishes :f_love:?

What about: each house takes 5 chickens and 1 dog insdide their house. Killed chickens must be replaced immediately. The house that can live like that the longest wins. Chickens obv can not leave the house.

edit: or a couple of snakes

Didnt grind so much today, action during the day is really bad. So bad that im gonna try and shift my sleeping shedule to waking up around 2am, starting tomorrow! Obv have to ship the SM then too..

Cool hand from today:

PokerStars - $2 PL Hi (2 max) - Omaha Hi - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: $200.00
Hero (SB): $200.00

Hero posts SB $1.00, BB posts BB $2.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $3.00) Hero has 4♣ 9♠ 2♠ J♦

BB bets $92.05, Hero calls $92.05

BB shows T♦ T♥ Q♥ A♥ (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 60%, Flop 30%, Turn 63%)
Hero shows 4♣ 9♠ 2♠ J♦ (Two Pair, Jacks and Twos) (Pre 40%, Flop 70%, Turn 38%)
Hero wins $315.60

Turn his lead was often pretty weak. Often its gonna be a pair +drawy type hand. Raised with my pair and gs to barrel on lots of river. I bink 2p and he donks. If he thinks im light on the turn, it makes not much sense for him to not let me barrel again on the turn, so fairly easy call.

Allright gonna take a rest and wake up fro SM and obv more omahihi

Yesterday we went go karting and although we couldnt arrange a real championship, we did hold some kind of race. It was nice to see that almost nine people showed up. Usually there are plenty of people that find lame excuses to not get out of their house (or even grinding chair) :f_biggrin:. It was a pity tho that because we are in the Philippines, the quality of the carts varied a lot. Some carts were much faster than others, some could hardly steer left or right and some got a flat tire after 2 laps :f_p:. But overall I think it was pretty clear that our house owned, right :f_biggrin:? After the 16 laps, 4 of our house decided to do a time trail. 8 laps with the same cart, ofc with the needed bets for it. Unfortunately couldnt win it :(, Pau crushed each one of us by being consistently having the faster laps. Anyways, it was fun and well do it again :). Tonight well go and have football together (I refuse to say soccer).

Two cool hands from yesterdays session:

PokerStars - $4 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (CO): $428.11
BTN: $400.00
SB: $400.00
BB: $491.49
UTG: $453.58

SB posts SB $2.00, BB posts BB $4.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $6.00) Hero has A♦ 4♥ 5♦ 3♥

UTG raises to $12.00, Hero calls $12.00, fold, fold, fold

Flop: ($30.00, 2 players) 2♥ J♦ J♠
UTG checks, Hero bets $16.00, UTG calls $16.00

Turn: ($62.00, 2 players) 6♠
UTG checks, Hero checks

River: ($62.00, 2 players) 4♠
UTG checks, Hero bets $36.00, UTG raises to $124.00, Hero calls $88.00

UTG shows Q♦ T♥ Q♣ 6♣ (Two Pair, Queens and Jacks) (Pre 55%, Flop 75%, Turn 70%)
Hero shows A♦ 4♥ 5♦ 3♥ (Straight, Six High) (Pre 45%, Flop 25%, Turn 30%)
Hero wins $307.20

Should have barreled turn here in this hand. Generally a cbet is ok, they give up some percentage of the time but when they c/c they mostly got overpairs. I betted F to, contine on turns that improved my hand, i have tons of backdoors here.

Anyways I didnt and river a straight. I think there is still value in a bet. Sometimes well see a call from an overpair that doesnt believe or even good regulars bluffraise often i these spots because i never have the strongest hand. He can definately have AA with nutflush or KK with 2nd flush but 3th flush hes not c/raising for value anymore and he hardly has any boats in his range too so I called fairly quickly.

Last hand, some fun blocker to blocker play

PokerStars - $4 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 5 players

UTG: $738.36

Pre Flop: (pot: $6.00) Hero has K♦ K♣ 9♠ 6♥

UTG raises to $8.00, Hero calls $8.00, fold, fold, fold

Flop: ($22.00, 2 players) A♠ J♣ T♥
UTG bets $16.00, Hero raises to $56.00, UTG raises to $136.00, Hero calls $80.00

Turn: ($294.00, 2 players) Q♣
UTG bets $116.00, Hero calls $116.00

River: ($526.00, 2 players) 5♦
UTG bets $234.00, Hero calls $234.00

UTG shows 8♦ K♥ K♠ 2♣ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 45%, Flop 40%, Turn 0%)
Hero shows K♦ K♣ 9♠ 6♥ (Straight, King High) (Pre 55%, Flop 60%, Turn 100%)
Hero wins $991.20

Last 9 days, I grinded 50 hours which is quite a lot for me since I hardly grinded for the last months. But I feel in the mood again to play and learn and I wanna crush the midstakes as soon as possible. Back to watching galfond vids as well. As proof: i should be getting diamond again soon normally :P. First time in half a year or so :(, feel pretty ashamed by that but hey what can you do if you live in paradise, you forget about everything :).

Allright, lets continue the grind today! Gl to everyone.

Btw guys, Pau is leaving in about 10 days so this means there will be a free spot in the house.

If somebody is willing to live the dream, go to another country, explore new life, experience crazy adventures, this might be just for you.

Requirements: fun, outgoing, must be able to pay the bills (like $1k/month). I dont care if you are a slave trader or a mafia boss, as long as you got the house spirit in you :f_biggrin:

Well, not many of us are from Pokerstrategy anymore, I think thats why.

<---- Boom, back like in the good olds days .

For last 2 weeks im having a sick work ethic. Grinding like 8h a day on average and gymming 3-4 times. Feeling so much powerrrrrr. I dont feel like changing this in the near future. Didnt really feel so much joy in the last 2-3 parties so might just grind 7 days a week for some time :P. Also decided yesterday to have a month without alcohol just to see how it feels :).

Few days I went to buy a nice grinding chair too maybe thats where all the power is coming from , its so comfyyyyy
