do you reckon the video tables are better for fish on 888?

The fish absolutely love them :P

1. Mostly SnG

2. Micro stakes around $1BIs

3. Full ring and 6max

4. A couple of hours per day, often more

5. 2-4

I know pokerstars have a lot of SnG traffic but are there any other viable options? I already have a pokerstars account so i wouldn't be able to gain strategy points on there

Looks like you put in a lot of hard work on this thread alone, thanks for the help!

1. SNG/MTT

2. will be $1 sng but would like to move up.

3. Only comfortable on FR but would like to play HU/SH as well when BR/EXP allows.

4. The goal is to play 7 hours a day 3 days a week + an hour or two in the evenings on other days.

5. 4 tables increasing as ability allows.

6. Currently am grinding up to $50 dollars with 888's free 8 dollar offer. Will then withdraw and grind out a FDB. I was considering WH but I'd like to know what other options there are as well (If Possible I'd like to save their MASSIVE FDB for when I'd be likely to grind out more like $500 or $1000 of it.)

For the next 6 months I'm just trying to play the game really well (putting in 20+ hours a week and living on nothing)

If I'm making close to minimum wage by new years I'm going to go "pro" :P

Most important thing for me is having plenty of traffic throughout the day. A major problem I had with PartyPoker was it being DEAD in the evenings. That should be less of a problem because I'll be grinding all day, but definitely need to have enough traffic to put in a lot of games.

Thanks again!

G.

Hi Musher1993,

I think you would enjoy playing at PartyPoker.

They have good traffic and really nice software.

They also have some really soft games to.

You also get 4.5SP's for every $1 of rake so you will be able to unlock video and strategy articles even quicker to help you improve your game!

Good luck at the tables

Callum

looking for a room with a software that doesn't make you scream upon opening more than 1 table at a time (useless pop ups that you have to close manually in order to be able to close another window etc) and with decnt traffic at double up sngs or nlh sngs in general

Hi Jimanyjerk,

Congrats on your grind so far! I would suggest you play at BetFred for now.

They are on the Ipoker network and have good traffic for the $1 SNG's. They also have a $400 FDB to help get you started.

This means you can save the bigger FDB on WH/Titan for when you have a bigger BR to get the most from them :)

Good luck

Callum

Hi shichibukaii,

I think you would like playing on PartyPoker, they have some of the nicest software going and good traffic for DON's and regular SNG's

Good luck

I have been playing at micro/low stake and some SnG tournaments. My BR is not great but I hope to build it up. Until joining this site I didn't realise that it made any difference which site to play at. Now I am wondering what is the best site for me to play at?

I only tend to play one table at a time. I play for between 1 and 6 hours a day.

Hi Northernplan,

The best room for you will be PartyPoker .

They have a wide selection of games for SNG's and cash games that are pretty soft.

You will also earn 4.5sp's per $ of rake. This will help you unlock more content in our videos and strategy section to help you improve your game!

Best of luck

Callum

Hi Callum, I opened an account with party poker andthings are going great. Does it usually take a long time for sp points to come through to poker strategy. It is over a week and I have no points showing on myaccount. Who do I contact about this.

Hi Northernplan,

I can see that you entered your username to be tracked. For some reason you are not receiving SP's

You may not be 'tracked' on Party Pokers side.

Can you please contact PartyPoker customer support to make sure that you are tracked via us with them. They should be able to tell you this instantly.

If you have any other questions please let me know, even better add me on skype at Callum.Noble.PS and I will be able to answer straight away :)

Thanks

Callum

1. Which game type you play? SNGs - STT/MTTSNG

2. Which limit do you play? $10-$60

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? SH or FR

4. How much do you play? 40+hrs

5. How many tables do you want to play? 18-32

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? make monies

im looking for recommendations on a site to play turbo STT or MTTSNGs on besides PS? i am a full time player and looking to put in a lot of volume. i was looking at betfair and 888, as they are both tracked by pokerstrategy and according pokerscout have the best traffic behind stars etc. can anyone chime in with pros/cons of either, which you think has better VIP system/rake races etc? thanks!

Hi Pwntatochips,

The best place for you to play will be PartyPoker.

They have good traffic for SNG's at your level. The games will also be much softer in comparison to PS.

There is also a $500 FDB that adds a extra 33%. Depending on how much you rake a month you can get good returns from the VIP system aswell as gemstones.

A overveiw of our VIP offer at PartyPoker can be found here

If you have any questions please let me know or even better add me on Skype - Callum.Noble.PS

Thanks

Callum

thanks for the quick response, i just checked i have a PP and 888 accounts not signed up through PS, so it cant be linked to PS, effectively reducing my overall benefits. im guessing the only site left with decent traffic would be betfair that can tracked on my PS account. not sure if its better to go the betfair route or try and play on my PP or 888 account, from what i have heard the SNG/MTTs on BF and 888 are considerably softer than PP, but then again i havent played on PP in years and never loaded my account to play on 888.

Thank you very much for the information! Quick question: is the traffic dead beyond that point? I'm looking to move up as the bankroll allows and take shots at the 2$'s and beyond relatively quickly. I should have the bankroll to play the 2$'s as early as 1 month from deposit if everything goes according to plan

Also, where/who would I ask about skrill vs netteller. I'd just like to use whichever one is better/safer :P

thanks again for the quick reply,

G.

Hi Jimanyjerk,

The traffic is still good for the $2+ SNG's

In regards to Moneybookers/Netteller, both are good and it really comes down to personal preference. I may be biased but I prefer Moneybookers as they have been great every time I have dealt with them and they are very widely accepted.

Hi Pwntatochips,

Betfair is definitely a suitable alternative as they also have good traffic for SNG's. You can find details of our VIP offer here.

Let me know if you have any other questions
