How does the timebank work?
I moved from FT to PS recently, and the timebank is really getting on my nerves.
Sometimes it automatically activates sometimes i get sited out.
Can you set it to always autoactivate

I am not absolutely sure about this, but from my experience I would say as follows:
If you have the table highlighted/targeted/active, and the normal time to act expires, your timebank will be activated.
If the window is in the background and your normal time expires, you will be to sit-out.
I believe the only way to auto-activate timebanks is through the use of external programs, such as Table-Ninja.
I would happily be proven wrong if someone knows of a way, however.

Richard
yes that's what i was thinking.
I checked out table ninja. I have a friend in IT maybe i'll ask him if he can write a simple program, all the other stuff on table ninja don't seem that essential to me.
thanks

Did you get the program from you IT-geek friend?
I vaguely remember Stars having an option to "Automatically click time bank" or something like that.. but now I can't find it.. maybe they took it out? or that was just in my dreams?
Anyway, has anyone found a solution besides Table Ninja?
Hi Zarsky
I am sure there are some scripts around, but personnally, I just time out

Thanks for the tip, I'll google..
BTW, here's what Stars said about auto/manual activaton.. maybe someone will find it useful:
When the normal allotted time to act is finishing up, the time bank button will appear. If the player has money invested in the pot (this includes antes and blinds) and does not act in the time allotted the time bank gets started automatically. However, if the player does not have any money invested in the pot and they do not act in the time allotted, their hand is automatically folded and the player is forced to sit out.
this makes sense then, I did not know hy I was getting folded sometimes and not others. thanks for the explanation
