11$ MTT - vs donk bet

Most decent players know that most of the time you are going to miss the flop so in this case, villain can see that you dont have the stack size to mess around.

He can donk for 2 reasons. Firstly with nothing to see if you have a hand that you want to continue with and secondly because he has a big hand and knows that any raise commits you to the pot prety much.

You have a dilemma here because without history on villain you dont know which it is.

If you just call his donk bet he can fire again on the turn.

If you raise you commit so you might as well shove over but you need to decide first if you have the best hand and if not is repping something like AK enough to get him off his hand if he has one.

Without reads its impossible. If you had a bigger stack you could - and should in my opinion - raise his donk and most of the time he will fold.

You have to realise that on K66r it's quite difficult to have a pair. That said, our opponents may not realise that, and lead out Kx just cause.

Usually if opponent led for slightly more, I lean towards the "lead Kx just cause" line. So if he led it for something like 700 or so I'm just gonna give it up to him. Vs a 600 or lower lead though I'd always float this (vs 200 or so I'd just raise and treat as if he'd checked). Ace high is very very strong on this board.
