Some of us arent putting in enough volume anymore Yes, I am one of the! But I feel like I have good enough reasons, such as having met a rly nice guy (read: hottt), having had a previous good month, still doing ok this month, not having more than a few weeks left in this amazing place before having to go back home to old dull Sweden.

Before I know it I will be back in Sweden, with not much else to do but grind poker. So I want to try to make the most of my stay here That, ofc, doesnt mean I wont be playing any poker at all

I peeked at my july-graph today. I knew for sure I was gonna be below EV because them damn fish kept hitting rivers when I got my money in good ♦ Just had no idea where my actual line would be at.

Still a good start to the month!

Oh and I've started coaching recently, and I really enjoy it! I've had a few sessions with my one and so far only student it brings back alot of fun to poker I'm sure I will end up learning tons in the end too.

end rant. time to go to bed after a sunny and funny (haha! lol thats so bad i even laughed out loud) day at the resort with all the awesome ppl from the house and their +1s!

I personally try not to show EV, almost ever, when checking giraffes.

Either I am under EV; and feel like I'm getting raped by the rivers, or I'm over EV, and I feel like I'm playing horribly... I might have some mindset issues there.. ♦ I feel good enough by almost never checking EV though, so avoiding the issues caused by it.

I spent some time thinking today, and whilst I wont really elaborate what I came down to was that I need to make another attempt to put in consistent volume and increase my volume.

Thats why Ive decided I'm going to take on a punishment-bet for the week that starts tomorrow (monday). Avg of 5h/day on 6/7 days = 30 hours of playingtime.

What I need help with, is coming up with a good punishment if I dont make it.

So, let the imagination flow!

A money bet always works nice (motivation wise)

Or if you don't make it you have to buy dinner+lunch for everyone @ the house for 1 week? Something like that ♦

Or punish yourself by something you hate doing (for me thats cleaning ♦ )

If you choose this punishment I guarantee you will either a) succeed or b) go crazy.

It's simple: failure = shaved head.
