Hey, guys.

To whoever is thinking about joining 770: don't.

I made a deposit, tried to withdraw it partially, everything according to their rules and now they're asking for a whole bunch of (privacy invading) documents which don't concern them whatsoever.

They're disgusting scum, don't make the same mistake I did.

I think I read someone complaining about the same thing a few weeks ago.
Should have payed more attention.

Don't give those dishonest scumbags your money.

Hi, I've just started playing on 770 and I like it so far. Could you be more specific about your complaints?

This.

ID checks are standard amongst most if not all poker rooms.

Just simply respond to their requests and any restrictions on your account will be removed.

I have moved your thread to the dedicated board and would ask you to calm down a little. Abusive tones will not get you very far.

Regards,
Gary

So you think I should just send them the bank statement listing all my transactions (including blowup dolls and plastic vaginas) like it's nothing?

I didn't have to deal with any of this bullshit on Titan.

Do what you want with this info, I'm out of there.

If you wish to retrieve your money, I would send them whatever they require. Poker Rooms usually require ID verification (drivers license, passport) and address verification (Utility bill, bank statement)

Have a word with support and see what you can send them. Send only information you are comfortable with. They don't need to know what you had for breakfast!

In any case, if you don't feel comfortable sending documents - you will not be able to retrieve your money. If you haven't had much experience dealing with poker rooms before be wary that this is a standard procedure and if you are uncomfortable in sorting these situations out then it's probably not worth your while playing the game.

Regards,
Gary

770 is the worst room offered by Pokerstrategy. I received a tiny casino bonus and it showed up in my poker account. I tried the side games and it showed a balance of 4x my poker balance. I lost the "casino balance" and then my poker balance showed $0.

Besides having an obviously rigged blackjack game, 770 was never clear on how their casino bonuses work. Why the hell was it showing up in poker balance? On top of that, they refuse/are unable to disable side games for me -- something I asked many months ago.

I didn't bother asking online support bcuz 770 is one of the rooms I could care less about. I treat this room like how I treat Everleaf and Enet skins --- funds there are "worth" less than the funds I would have on a Betfair or Ladbrokes. Besides, support will probably give me some really dumb answer bcuz they know nothing about the product. Stick to the companies that actually have revenue and employees (Betfred, Paddy, Mansion, Titan, Boyle, etc). 770 is just a skin trying to look bigger than it actually is. There's a reason why people are complaining about this room and it's likely because the owner is the ceo, customer service rep, accountant and janitor.

You can black out everything you have bought and amount of money used. It must show your address and name at least. Every legit site will ask for this sooner or later.

Update: I sent them what they wanted, now they wanna talk to me on the phone which is something which wasn't ever mentioned before.

That is entirely up to you. Most people just hide all the other transactions and leave the poker transaction visible - this takes 5 minutes to do in paint.

ID verification is standard so you are making yourself look a little silly posting like they are the only room requesting it. Try any other room and you will get the same requests as long as your transactions exceed their internal limits.

Regarding the Casino bonuses, I would agree with you that they are a little bit crappy. However, this is actually something is a problem on the development side of things which is done by playtech. This is the only bonus system that exists in the poker client and due to the two wallets (poker/casino bonuses) not being separated from each others this leaves the room with only a poor option. Seeing as 15-30% of the revenue comes from the casino side games it would take a very poor poker manager not to squeeze more revenue from the side games, and unfortunately this only reflects bad on the players. If you play on other skins on iPoker they will have the same casino bonuses as poker 770.

If they didn't do I.D. checks I guess that when they get audited, they would leave themselves open to accusations of things like money laudering etc. Otherwise the site could just be used to ship illegal monies around. Think about it.....also it protects YOU because they are trying to keep these things above board, legal & transparent to their regulating authorities - otherwise they may go busto, get shut down & everybody looses their cash.

I just sent them photocopies of what they asked for (passport, credit card).

I wouldn't worry about it.

Obv if they piss me about when i want to withdraw I would be annoyed.

New update:
they just sent me an e-mail deciding they'd give my money through wire transfer even though I had chosen to do it through credit card, not only that they demanded a lot of data regarding my credit card for nothing.

Now they want a lot of other data.

They keep stalling and stalling, lying disgusting scumbags.

Don't put your money there.

You're completely missing the point.

They do that so lying disgusting scumbags won't get money.

Even though I despise poker770 for various reasons, this is not one of them.

I mean they offer bonuses and give free starting capitals, $50 if I'm correct so if they wouldn't ID check, what would hold people back from registering a million times to recieve the starting capital everytime?

And it's not just poker770, every decent pokersite does that.

The less info you want to give, the more they'll ask you in the end.

Every site I have joined has asked me to provide documents, passport pictures and a picture of the credit card I deposit with.

You are allowed to block out all your account numbers and balance/ transactions and your numbers on the passport that are important. All they need to see is your name on the passport matches the name on the bank card and statement and your address.

It is so that people can't easily make 100 accounts in different names and scam so you should be thankful for it really.

I have played on 770 for about 6months and haven't had problems with withdrawing or depositing.

I think you're missing the point.

Every time I comply with their demands, they go and ask for something else, something which hasn't been asked for before.

yes, this was a big turnoff for me too.. they had to call me on the phone to accept my withdrawal, but it was ok that I deposit with skrill, they don't need a phone call then.

also the withdrawal took over a week. my preferred site is almost instant, and no checks.

Just sort it out. then get your dosh out as soon as you can. They aren't gonna steal the monies......

Like I said I would be pissed off if I feel they are messing me around but the phone-call & I.D. (for deposit) was something I didn't pay much attention to, I just thought it was standard shit. It took 5 mins to sort out.....also i had to send I.D. for pokerstrategy so I had the documents already scanned.....

GL anyway...sounds like its tilting you to fxxk. X(

Hello GitGud,

Rest assured that the amount corresponding to your withdrawal request will be transferred to your account within the best delays.

Take into consideration that since weekends are excluded in the case of funds transfer via wire transfer or credit card refund, this might be one of the reasons for the delay. Additionally there are bank delays that are independent of the cardroom's standard procedures.

I suggest that you contact the Poker770 Support Team in case you cannot retrieve your winnings on your bank account within 10 working days after the validation of your withdrawal(in the case of a wire transfer transaction) or 5 working days (in the case of a credit card refund).

Thank you for your cooperation,

Yoanna
