Anyone knows a good converter for blogs? HTML from deucescrack's handconverter.com doesn't work for wordpress. Weaktight and flopturnriver are both terrible.

Anyway I'm trapped indoors by the typhoon and my friends are trapped in macau. Ended up grinding for 5 hours. I hope it dies out soon - Don't want to spend my vacation indoors

played for 5hours and ate delicious michelin dim sum. im going to shenzhen for some cheap and nice massage tmr :)

reminds me of thailand where the massages are all <10 USD and I just kept going multiple times. I hope it's just as cheap there.

Hi mbml! Based on your writing, it seems you profile people by nationality sometimes. My question is: What are the general tendencies of Australian poker players? (I'm Aussie, so it'd be useful to know what people think of my kind :P)

Cool, thoughtful and tough to play against I'd say.

well I'm referring to regulars. Fish suck, regardless of where they come from, though Russian fish are definitely the most aggro. And you'll notice that the top losing countries are those with high GDP. I don't see any poor african country being able to donate their money at the tables.

On the other hand, places like monaco and gibraltar are all tax havens so you have all the professionals running there, resulting in a high reg:fish ratio.

I just returned to Hong Kong from Shen Zhen. I will be flying back to Singapore tomorrow so you can expect more poker updates from me in the coming days when I start playing long sessions.

Poker
Basically I played multiple headsup sessions on my Iphone at NL100 and NL50 in the hotel in ShenZhen. Ended up winning 500-600. I think my edge is significantly larger than the opposition but I'm quite surprised at the number of players who were willing to give me action. In the past I often had to challenge at least 3-4 guys before I could find a non bum-hunting reg who was willing to play.

I think I'm going to restart the challenge and start afresh. I ran so sickeningly bad that I just wasn't getting too much progress.

That AA hand tilts me so much! I guess we should be folding but I hate doing it just cause of there dumb line.

Q9ss feels super dirty aswell cause the guy reps pretty narrow. Since I dont expect him to cram anything but the NF. Is there a reason you picked such big river sizing when his river calling range is pretty weak?

I agree with both of you, I hate folding AA in 3b pot, but I feel ATM when a fish raises it is always a strong hand, there don't seem to be many agro fish who raise draws anymore.

i want to be sure that I'm folding the worst hand. I think he might potentially ship a worse flush if I make a weak sizing

Hey Galvin,

Saw something about Singapore that I thought was interesting, did you know that you pay those that win a gold medal in London get more money than any other country in the world, each winner gets $800,000!!

Also I was in Singapore in February, it is an awesome city/country, went for a drink in (I don't remember the name of the place) the bar at the top of that 80 story sky scraper!! $15 for a glass of wine but well worth it.

I hope to go back in the future with more money and more time.

Running bad + spewing a little caused me a lot of money. Will try to fix my leaks soon

Really frustrating day for me. I started my session and got stuck 700 under 30 min. I spewed off about 100 but rest of it was mostly about getting coolered, losing flips, and having everyone flop the nuts against me.
