What do you think? :f_love:

Two days ago I realised that on entraction they have more 5Card PLO action than normal PLO so wtf, ofc I instantly started to mix that game into my sessions. Been playing it for two days now and man im so addicted already . Its really amazing, people are afraid of the nuts all the time and position is like massively important. Probably my vpip for ep mp co bu is like 12 15 19 60 and so far its working great. You are able to rep so much all the time its pretty easy to take down pots and oop its so hard to play even with strong hands, but luckily not many people seem to know that :f_biggrin:. So far up like 30-40 BI in 2 days muahahaha. Mostly 50 though but im gonna play as high as the action goes from now on. Also had some fair amount of 5C HU action already so.. Found my new main game :f_biggrin:

Sadly PT4 can not import the hands so Im playing HUDless but hey i dont need that :f_cool:. Also marking hands is virtually impossible but managed to put the biggest pot in weaktight

Regular PLO has too little variance and combos, so they added some more. Only jbpatzer could calculate odds for that without help. It is like the math proffesors game of the future. He is gonna love it for shure.

Bought a guide to my camera too in manila, if im not too lazy anymore to read it, except some cooler ones in the future :f_p:

Beginning-mid of August :f_cool:.

Our internet has been out now for 1-2 days, grmbl, gonna take new deal at different provider cause this sh*t is getting kinda ridiculous. Probably lost around $1k this month on disconnections/ev :p.

Tonight its Paus goodbye party. I wil be my first party without alcohol in like 6 years or so :P. Not drinking any alcohol for a month and maybe longer if i dont feel like drinking it

Still going strong on the non-alcohol bet. Count is at 12 days atm.

Last month went pretty good for me. It was the first month since maybe the beginning of this year that I actually grinded quite hard. I only started playing the 10th of the month but ended at like 125hours which is very reasonable. Crushed the games too and made a solid amount of money.

Was talking to one of my business partners today and we decided to go to Bangkok to have a business meet there but obviously enjoy a sickload of parties too. They are only going for the weekend of 14-16 but im already leaving the 8th cause I wanna enjoy it longer and grind some there too :P.

Just finished copy pasting a message to the 40 hottest girls on dateinasia in bkk. Lets sleep now and see how that works out tomorrow :P.

Anways epic 1.5 week is gonna be EPIC.

Will make updates from this for sure :)

Yea havent updated for some time since Im so OMGWTF busy lately.

Bangkok was nice. Such an amazing city with never-ending nightlife and amazing food. People are less friendly than in Cebu though but I guess its normal because there are much more tourists and lots of people just try to rip you off.

Most importantly I met some of my business partners again so it was really motivating to see each other again. We will be launching our product in about 2-3 months and I will link our site later here when it is completely finished :). But for now I can just say its something like a party-yacht-weekend-trip :f_cool:.

Im also following an online course now about Eco-consultancy and together with one of my roommates here I will set up an office for that one as well. Tomorrow we will have to do the final exam so will have some more time on my hands very soon.

After Bangkok me and a friend also made a bet that we will play 100 hours of poker till the end of the month. So this was like 100h in 12-13 days. I have 5 hours more to go now but combined with all the learning and other stuff, it has been really busy :), because I also signed up for 8 courses at www.coursera.com. Its a site that provides lectures of well-known rl universities. You can follow every subject that interests you, like in my case, ranging from psychology to business to cosmology and earth & sustainability.

Next month I should have a bit more time to grind poker again so I really want to focus on playing higher limits again. This month I didnt play so high because of the bet I was really often just playing and studying at the same time , which is not really optimal.

Besides poker and studying, Im also going back to the gym like 4 times a week. So productivity level nowadays is pretty high :f_love:. But obviously there is still always time to party. Although aiming for six pack in 2 months :P. 2 more to go lol.

Party pics:

Cheers guys, I'll update with some poker stuff in a few days. Cause the forum needs more PLO loving :f_love:

Whats new, guys?

A bit later update than expected but I have been really busy with a couple of things:

- I finished the eco-consultancy course and passed the final exam about a week ago. The plan now is to put up a site and start to look for companies who are interested in our service. I will let you guys know how that is working out

- Concerning the party boat thing. Our website is online at http://cebupartyboat.com/ and info can be found on Facebook too. I don't know if I can post it here but I assume so. If not, mods, you can delete it :). Our first trip will on 5th of October, I'm already looking forward to it!

- Poker: Im actually grinding really hard now and I have ambitions of going for high stakes. Last week I have been analysing a lot more with regulars on mid stakes + I'm reading 2p2 almost daily. I realised some time ago that with my current skillset I can beat PLO1k IF I table select well. So I have moved up from 200 to 400 already if the games are good. Even shotted some 600 and 1k in really good games. The 1k shot unfortunately didnt go very well. I had direct seat on a big whale but he ran rly hot. Not only vs me but vs the whole table :P. I will take more 1k shots in 2 weeks or so

Thanks JB :f_thumbsup:, haven't heard about it though :O.

@Antonioull: No copy paste info mate :P, its pretty safe here i would say, never felt in danger, even not when you walk alone on the streets at night. Prices: you can live very cheap or you can blow a lot of cash, depends on what you want :). Nnet speed is decent, obv worse than in europe but definately playable.

Nah, against AAxx we have almost 38% pre. Single-suited our equity drops to 34% with nutsuit and 32% without nutsuit. So probably AhQsJdTd I would fold.

it's not all-in pre though if it's 5bet, you need to call 542.4 for a pot that will be 1084.8 and we still got 692.1$ behind. don't know how often we put it in good on the flop etc though.

http://www.propokertools.com/simulations/graph_hvr?g=oh&h1=ah+qd+th+jd&h2=aa%2A%2A&s=generic

.55 of the time we fold and lose 542.4
.45*.6 of the time we win 1424.52
.45*.4 of the time we lose 1053.72

so overall i think we lose 103.37$ each time we call the 5bet not counting rake, assuming i've done it right, which is a pretty damn big assumption.

I know but pure mathematically if you have 33.3% preflop, you should call IF you are able to make perfect decisions postflop against his range which is 99% of the time only AA.

that's not true, for example if we play mtt and someone minraises button and we got 72o on the bb we can't just profitably defend it just cause our pot odds are amazing

btw my analysis assumes perfect play vs AAxx post
