Man...that 97s hand is just really bad.

Preflop: Why are you even entering the pot here? The only hands you should be limping are pocket pairs, or maybe some suited connectors if several people have already limped. You should either raise or fold, and in this case, you should just fold.

Flop: Your opponent has bet out hard, and you have nothing. You only have a gutshot draw. Fold.

Turn: Okay, now you have a flush draw + a gutshot draw, but he's betting big. I suppose you can call here, considering he seems likely to bet the river as well.

River: Correct play.

But yeah: You got very lucky on the turn and river. There was absolutely no reason to call on the flop. Let's look at a couple of ranges in PokerStove. We'll take the best case scenario, and give him a wide range, all of which he is betting after the flop.

22+, any ace, any broadway cards, K9s+, K8o+, suited connectors 65s+.

Your equity is STILL only 33%. If he's not c-betting crap, which you don't know, your equity will drop:

TT+, 66-55, AK, KT+, 65s, double diamond suited connectors 76s+, double diamond suited aces.

Here, your equity drops to 22%! This is just ridiculously low. Should definitely fold here: You are heavily behind even in a good scenario.

Reading over your blog, I'd say you simply play too many hands. I'd find a good hand range, and stick to it for a few thousand hands, then start gradually opening it up. The PokerStrategy.com basic hand charts are a little conservative, but try the standard table from this article:

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/strategy/bss/1635/1/

Good luck!

don't limp ever, don't play suited connectors only because ' omg i can flop a draw and get a nit to stack off'

use pokerstove and think about handranges and why you are betting/calling and consider future streets. Win

Hi Guys! ..for first thanks for the replies and ofc advices ;)
Salivanth..ye thats true that i play way too many hands for fr:) ..my VPiP is like around 28% overall..but kinda cant help with this..i like more action ..then just like sit and w8 for KK+ ,Ax or pocket pairs.
But i tried today after your post to play less suited conectors and so and got not bad results so far :)
here is graph:

gonna try to continue play more nitty and will keep inform u how is going with that style :)

yeah... in that case i'd really like to see the turn card

turn may already be a fold imo though because we are oop and don't really know which outs may be good for us.

Good stuff mate. The graphs are looking good!

On the hand with the AA...why on earth have you checked behind on the flop on such a wet board??? It's a horrible flop but one that IMHO you have to bet for value and protection - he might be playing suited connectors and have a FD, he might have KQ, AQ, AJ, AT etc. that you're also ahead of. If he raises then I'd be folding.

Once the turn comes any K has a straight and the FD completes so we're not beating much that's betting I would think. I'm not sure I'd even call the turn, but I guess with a few outs to the FH or quads it's ok with implied odds, but once we miss it's a definite fold on the river.

Hi mate!
Thanks! :)

to that hand: i was thinking in that moment a bit that he might be on such flop already with nut str8 or some set when he did call such reraise..cause so far at this limit i have only seen to call reraise such nits mostly only with KA or high PP..so i rather just checked aswell and wanted to see next card cheap instead of getting reraised and fold those aces probably..then turn i did call for FH possibility or even quads ..so that was what i have been thinking about in that moment but overall i agree aswell that i should prolly bet at flop anyway :)
thanks for your humble opinion ;)
