phil laak, he's hilarious!

Yeah I like him a lot. Him and Sammy Farha. I could imagine having fun conversations with those guys. Especially Phil.

Daniel Negreanu Why: Honesty.

It's gotta be Scotty Nguyen baby.

His "you call it's all over baby" for the title was awesome and the way he was rolling over people at the 50k event in belligerent drunk mode was one of my all time favorite moments in WSOP history. It's no fun when Scotty got the gun baby!

For tv purposes the three people you want at a table are Fullflush, The Brat and of course The Devilfish!! The three most entertaining players by far.
"In your eye Bennyamine you arrogant man" pure quality!

Devilfish for PM

Phil Laak for me.

Lots of good choices out there though. Like Mohsin Charania, here's a real pro with a down to earth personality that not many people would recognize. He's one of the young guys who started out online but no weird ego problems. Guys like this are really good role models.

Tom Dwan. Unpredictable and very perspicacious. I also like guys like Negreanu, Esfandiari, Laak and Lederer.

Probably favourite poker player is Jason Mercier. But I really enjoy to watch Roberto Romanello playing. His reading skills are impressive and he looks like really nice person.

So many great poker players/personalities out their and i agree with a lot of your choices but one player that i really liked and enjoyed watching was Anton Makievskyi in during his deep run in the wsop main event last year. Really liked his crazy agressive style and was heart broken when he got busted out by Pius heinz after a blind vs blind shove with KQ into heinz 99. After flopping a queen heinz turned a 9 on him :P Thats poker folks.

I wouldn't consider anybody my "Favourite player" unless I had met them. Most pros I have seen on TV come across as people I would not want to meet anyway - Tony G, PH, Durr, Mike the Mouth, and many others - all people I would be happy to cross the road to avoid.

+1, had the honour of playing with him in any MiniFTOPs game before and he spoke to me because of my nationality :)

Got the impression that he's a really genuine person albeit through a PC obv!

Yeah Andy Block is awesome too. Good mention. He was on the 2+2 pokercast not so long ago. It was a good episode.

thanks for your warm reply guyz... guess most of us here prefer a poker player that entertain them the most... but for me i want to learn from my favorite poker player not to get entertained cause if i play i dont want to entertain everybody around with my hands, id rather play it with focus and determination. wish someday to play with patrick antonious in a table and actually beat him on at least 1 hand wishful thinking ^_^
