Hi,

I was just wondering if there was one, if if there are plans to have one? I think its a good idea as I'm assuming a lot of guys here play live as well as online.

Obviously it wouldnt consist much of graphs or specific hand analysis (unless you can remember the exact chip counts etc etc)

I just think there should be a place to talk about live play, strategies, reads/tells and all that sort of stuff.

I prefer to play live as its much more entertaining and enjoyable, not to mention softer. Even though you cant get the volume in, I still prefer the format.

Just a thought, mods!

Joel

hey joeldowey123

there currently isnt such a board in the forums. if users have questions about live play or want to discuss anything then generally they just go in the general poker discussion (or the relevant game variant board). however it's a cool idea, so i forwarded it on and someone will be back to give you an answer :)

Lewis.

I've never played live before, well not at a casino just with friends casino intimidates me a little no idea why i know its gonna be fun and soft. Would be great to have a forum to find others who play at your local casino and just to read about what to expect and stuff.

@External - playing live in the casino for the 1st time is an amazing rush! you get so nervous and you will probably be giving off loads of tells!!

1st time i played live i remember picking up big hands and my hands were shaking so bad that people must have though i was bluffing, which was nice as I got paid off!

I find live games, especially in casinos, REALLY interesting as you are constantly trying to figure out everything thas going on, personally I never get bored. It dif to playing with friends as you can get to know their style quicker than against strangers.

Also, there are some great characters at the tables and you can have a lot of fun at lives tables!

Just go for it sometime

Holla guys,

Generally we work on something called "Supply and demand" this means that if there is enough interest warranting a new board then we will create it. Recently you will have seen that we had a lot of psychological posts/threads, we decided that we should make a learning to win area which would then encourage more posts and we felt we had an initial demand.

For Live Poker, I'm really not sure there is a demand, I think perhaps a thread in general poker discussion called "The Live Poker Thread" or "Brick & Mortar" may be good and we can all discuss there?

We also usually have separate threads for stuff such as EPT's and WSOP's made from the guys in editorial.

Hope this makes sense and let me know if you disagree/have any comments etc.
