What have you done to Latvia and Lithuania? Or is it all just one country after your last Friday night out?
Pff...It feels funny. I have no idea why though. I keep on running like chit, for month and a half already. Hopefully, by the end of August, I will show some profit. Today I dropped down to the 22$s and 33$s mostly, because 54$s are just insane. Regs only, wtf. Should have done this even earlier. My gipsy wanna-be brothers are always there to entertain though.
I will make 50 push ups, shave, suit up and put the sunglasses on. No matter that it's 9:21 in the evening already and all of this because- fuck logic. Demonic's style when he plays 3bet pots.

Have to say that ongame blind structure really seems awful... Went through some hand histories for my first video. 5max game, 4 people left, blinds 200/400, avg. stack 4-5bb and some other shit like that

10max is even worse. I remember once having 8 handed table with all up to 2 bbs. ♦
@ Fatdoggydog- there isn't much to be done in Maina town anymore, my old friend.
@ alx-of course fucking of course ♠_biggrin: They say it's supposed to give you some extra equity and higher chance to go to a showdown. This could be all rumours though.
@ ghaleon and dydukas- yep. And besides- people are super aggro, there is light 3-4-5 betting going most of the games. People stack off with 88 vs AJ being 50bb deep. Insane.

Not sure if there is really point to go for those sort of betting wars? At least versus good players those will not likely give much of edge. If they go too wild could it be most profitable to just tighten up overall and see if they continue it still? If they will not adjust quickly they will just end up spewing heavily.
Hello kurrkabin, I playing 5 max sng 54-108 in ongame with u) I got downswing too. Can u show full ongame 5 max graph with ev?
My situation last 2 months in $54 sng 5max with 4-5 regs at the table. The same situation in $108.

jl22ib_ got ~30k downswing last 2 months. What is going on with ongame?
Hey guys, why u even play with 4-5 regs in a game, unless u like swings + like to play for RB. Usually when i see 2 regs in my table, i wont even play, unless they are bad ones. It makes a big difference, ofc not so many tables. But there wont be edge also again with 4-5 regs in the tables. :). U should move to stars

Weren't you playing on ongame as well? Please let me know when i s the time to have 2 or less regs on the table there on 22$+
![]()
games on ongame are simple - you or play or dont play
situation on ongame usually not too bad, but this summer tables are full of regs. And yes playing these games with good rakeback more profitable than 10 fishy tables per day for profit)
pfff, wish my EV was like that. Since I switched to the seaside, I bought a laptop, so I can post the ongame graph from mid May on, AVE is 41$ something.

EV is at minus 1.2. To be honest, I am a bit ashamed to post the graph, although it's still decent winnings postakeb. Problem is that long run with these EVs seems really long and I am not even sure what sample I need to put in order to know whether I can be BE, slightly up or down. Not to mention games change, get tougher slowly but steady- what I see the last 2 months really doesn't plaese my taste. Regs only. At the end of August, which is so far a total disaster, I will re-evaluate whether I should stay on ongame and play SnGs anymore in general. I think I will stay-I don't want to give up on them nor I want to accept I reached my limit. Not sure though if worth it as by the end of 2013, it could be only regs left on 33$+ on ongame. Maybe the return of FT and american players(hopefully) will put a bright light to our games. Stars, although widely believed to bring the toughest competition is still beatable, because of the vast variety of games and limits you can play. Mixing 15$-60$ 6-9(KOs), hyper turbos, should be good enough.
Yeah thats true, when u tableselect too much, then it is even hard to get tables running ♦. U got point gavron.
About stars tables, i think they are quite beatable ( like really), cause of blind structure
and ofc some tableselection ♦
@ Ghaleon- you could be usually right, but when the action is 5-handed, super turbo structure, you really need to steal the blinds in order to survive, most of the regs have a good clue of ICM on the 54$s. So they steal a ton of hands, 4bet bluff a ton of hands, 5 bet ship a good load of hands. I told you- we stack off 40bb deep 88 vs AQ for value!
But anyway. Period...my drama continuous above expectations and I am already 3.3k under EV for 900 tourneys, ave BI is 39.19$. I am like 4.6k down so far prerakeb. I don't share this to complain nor whine. As ugly as it sounds, I am happy with my EV being minus 3.5% when the ROI is minus 13 : ). I think there is a good chance when the set ups reduce in number, I will be BE on the 54$, which will be good enough imo.
A funny hand that took place today:
Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $100(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,077)
BB ($1,823)
UTG ($1,780)
Hero ($1,420)
BTN ($1,400)
Dealt to Hero Q♠ Q♦
fold, Hero raises to $200, fold, fold, BB calls $100
FLOP ($450) 3♥ 3♠ 3♣
BB checks, Hero bets $200, BB calls $200
TURN ($850) 3♥ 3♠ 3♣ T♦
BB checks, Hero bets $250, BB calls $250
RIVER ($1,350) 3♥ 3♠ 3♣ T♦ 2♣
BB checks, Hero bets $770 (AI), BB calls $770
Hero shows Q♠ Q♦ (Pre 89%, Flop 0.1%, Turn 0.0%)BB shows T♠ 3♦ (Pre 11%, Flop 99.9%, Turn 100.0%)BB wins $2,890
Villain is an aggro fishy player. I expect Ax and strong Kx to 3bet me pre, so I narrow his range to mostly shit holdings, therefore I wanted to slowly get him in my net ♠_biggrin: Yeeeep, buddy!
I hope you can turn this nastyass swing going on..
I wouldn't be able to pull through, personally, I haven't the mindset for it, and you STTers deserve huge respect for being able to take it.
