I got some questions aswell!

1) What do you use more, session stats or lifetime stats on a player? And then the ongoing question, what do you think is a good amount of hands to use on a player, cuz stats will get old and players will adjust...

2) I tend to dodge villians that 3bet/4bet/5bet me alot, but i guess they will notice this too and do it even more. How to adjust accordingely to this?

3) I barely bluff3bet from MPvsUTG, cuz UTG as we know, will have the strongest range. Is this a flaw? because my 3bets will be quite polarised.
So i ocasionally also flat monsters to induce sqz's etc.. making the 3bet% even lower tho.

4) And this is something i did 2 times yesterday and got some comments from people on it. And i'd like your opinion as you got some even crazier hands.
The situation: We are BB, Villian is stealhappy from sb (70+%), we've 3betted him a time or 2 and now he min4bets. And we call(with rather craphands), to play further almost purely on our perceived range.

My reads were that he was adjusting poorly and getting sick of my 3bets, so his 4bet range would be pretty weak aswell.
But my perceivedrange would be quite strong, leaning towards QQ+ AK or somewhat, as ppl will never flat a 4bet with less.
And i didn't 5betshove, cuz he would've called with say 99, but he will have a hard time playing that oop on a KT3 board or whatever.

In this HUD you don't have AF WTS and W$SD which i think are very important to play postflop.Don 't u think ?

Thanks !

I would like to also know more concerning the HUD, what about this line up:

yeah i think you're turning your hand into a bluff on the flop when you check-raise. if you take that linefor value, villain has to be able to call you with worse, but it's such a strong play i doubt he would. i think just cbet/folding would be the best line. if he raises, he probably has you beaten. if he calls then bet/fold again on the turn.

Hi pleno ! Can you please tell me what do you think of this hand ?

NL10, Zoom, PS, 6max

Hero in the button with a stack of 9.50$ holding 5h 6h.

Everybody folds to the CO ( 11$ )who makes it 0.30$, Hero raises to 1.10$, CO calls.

FLOP Ts 7h 9h

CO bets 1.70$ Hero raises to 5.50$, CO goes into the tank an in the end he pushes all in, which I instantly call because I was pot committed anyway.

TURN Ac

RIVER Ah

CO shows As Tc

I think that it was an excellent played hand and any decent player who is not a poker zombie like this guy would instantly fold preflop, and if by mistake he is calling preflop, there is no way he could call on the flop. Clearly the BU represents AA KK QQ JJ there and in this case he is a massive underdog. I was thinking he had JJ and I was thinking that I still have fold equity for this flip on the flop, but obviously I had 0% fold equity:). Thanks a lot pleno ! Cheers ! ( sorry about the hand posting, I don't own PokerTracker ).

You need to have a HUD that is very easy for you to use and set out correctly, having too many stats does not make sense. It also differs depending on how many tables you play etc.

Here is the HUD that I use at the moment, which I really really like.

Name
Total Hands

- - - - - - - - -

Tot 3bet
Fold to 3bet
Squeeze

- - - - - - - - -

Flop Cbet
Fold to flop Cbet

- - - - - - -

EP PFR
MP PFR
CO PFR
BTN PFR
SB PFR

- - - - - - -

Tot vpip
Tot pfr

- - - - - - - -

Btn steal
Fold to btn steal

I then have all my stats coloured perfectly. The lighter the colours the more passive the guy is, the more red the colour the more good/aggro he us and the more purple he is the more of an absolute maniac he is.

holla all,

EPT Barcelona was a huge failure, I ran like death and we had a lot of problems in the city. I'm spending some time home with my parents before coming back to Gibraltar, I'll try to write a little report and then get cracking on with the questions again.

Bet/folding is the most profitable line in No Limit Texas Holdem on the river in 99% of hands when you hold a value hand with the betting lead.

Hey pleno sth came up.Try to write if you want some "gold" rules on poker.Like the one you did :

"Bet/folding is the most profitable line in No Limit Texas Holdem on the river in 99% of hands when you hold a value hand with the betting lead."

What is the most important things you think and follow ?

i know it's a really basic concept (and i seem to remember reading it in here if i remember correctly but cant seem to find it), but i would like your opinions/recommendation on open raising sizes at the micros. 4x+1 per limper because our hands are mainly value hands? 3x cos thats a standard? or vary it depending on position?

EV=0.7*58+0.3*/0.3/58+182/-182/= 40.6-33=+3.8bb

2/ Can we start 5b jam when he 4b light 8-10%+ and How do you classify the best hands for that like Ax, low PP, Kx, low SCs ?

Thank you in advance!

Hi pleno1,

I know it's not much of 6max related question, but I'd really like to hear your opinion even though it's very general question.. :)

I guess that everybody wants to get at the top asap. Let's say I'm willing to spend 12h a day to poker. I know that it will differs for every person, but could you at least write things on which I should work harder? Just ordered by importance?

I mean like - Playing/Game theory (which topics you find most valuable?)/HHreviews/Forum ...

Thanks very much :)
Cya
