Poker Stars No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 600/1200 Blinds (5 handed) - Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP (t7821)
Button (t23860)
SB (t16122)
Hero (BB) (t13770)
UTG (t5927)

Hero's M: 7.65

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, 3
3 folds, SB bets t2400, 1 fold

Total pot: t2400

Villain had a steal of 65%.

I'm always concerned when a player min steals or there abouts. I would have called if he had shoved.
I find that earlier in the tournament, ie when players have about 10bb this generally means that they have a very strong hand and helps me fold good hands, but it often seems more frequent on final tables. I'm not sure if this is generally because players want to avoid all in situations, or that they increase the range of hands they want all ins with.
Any advice about min raises on final tables?

I will move this hand to the hand evaluation forums as well.

Easy reshove your levelling yourself. Its true high level players this is usualy the nuts but thats like what under 10% of players?

Also a3 really isint a great call here without reads he would need a really wide range to make it worth it.

Cheers for all the responses! They were pretty trivial I see, but I wasn't sure if these were large floors or not. Reckon thats set me straight.
Also, what forum did I put them in? apologies for putting them in wrong one.

also, judging from your responses, I think I'm often calling to wide. what type of range would you suggest if villain had a steal of 60% or similar? What do you think most people steal with?

First minraise, with this stacksizes( and he has pushed all ready a lot) then fold. Otherwise push

If your under 10 bb you can start thinking of making this call if you dont like your edge on the table. Its not that were not ahead here its that we are not ever way ahead and when we call off are life with a marginal hand like a3 we finish 5th 40% of the time. Because of this its better to be the guy stealing 60% then to be the guy calling.

That being said in this spot its reversed and we put that problem on his shoulders so its a great reshove but not a great call hope that makes sense. People do trap with this line and you could be shoving into a range that your crushed by but I doubt this guys on that level.

This is my thoughts exactly. If he has been shoving a ton and has decided to min raise this time that throws up a redflag and forces me to fold.

Shove or fold here and if he hasn't been shoving a bunch then I reshove here
