i did something not so smart i guess.
Yesterday i played for 4 hours and on the end i was so tirred, that i came on the idea to grind on NL5 till i had 50 euro left.
I began whit like 80 euro and when i reached the 59 i was thinking on how stupid i was doing......
new day...dont gonna play for the first couple of hours, first gonna do something else, gonna eat somewhere in the city
realy have to stay on NL2 till i reached at least 100 dollar, than i can take some shots.
this afternoon i gonna make a BRM schema
alright new plans!!!
i get a bit bored, every day playing NL2 tables.
So what i'm gonna do to protect against getting bored and going on tilt of that reason.
I start whit a second bankroll, also 50 euro on Titan poker and start to do 45mans sng's 0,50 on pokerstars.
So when i have some more time i can start to do sng's and when i have only short time or so or just when i like it i can play cash games.
I know that a lot of people say, better choose a variant, but i just gonna try this, we see what's happens
ok new plans didnt work out that good.
Swapped some money to titanpoker, where i discoverd they didnt have NL2 speed tables and all the NL2 regular where full, so i started on NL5 Speed and after 2 bad beats on NL20 and hoppa broke!!!
I have to think, what i'm gonna do now

how did you end up on NL20????
also be patient and wait for NL2 tables rather than spew your BR away

I really think you should quit poker (temporarily).
I've read your blog on the dutch forum from time to time and anyone with a bit of common sense would draw the same conclusion ...
Or at least don't take poker so serious and let it be just an amusing hobby, focus on other (more important) things in your life and learn to play to become good/ have fun instead of focussing on the money and trying to climb the limits as fast as possible.

Yeah that was the meaning of this start on NL2, focussing on my mindset....
I see where it went wrong. I started the first week quite ok. Didnt focus on my Bankroll that much and upmoving but on how to get a stronger mindset.
Till i started to put to much time in the poker, ik started to poker untill deep in the night, didnt sleep that much anymore, didnt go to my "work" and dont do other things what is good. Sport etc...
Its just a kind of addiction poker, where i realy have to watch for. so i need discipline and other things that i also will do.....
I now what the problem is, but dont now if and how to fix it.
Stop playing poker i wont do, because i like it to much and dont see the meaning of stopping, other than giving up

ADDICTION is the keyword
either you find a way to solve the addiction but often the fix is just temporarily and like many addictions it's something you'll have to work on for the rest of your life ... Not much use in controlling yourself for weeks/months and then blowing all the work in one night. Been there done that ![]()
Or you take the safe road: quit and you don't let your addiction rule your life.

Playing a lot less at the moment, still taking everything into consideration to make a decision. If you know the mental aspect of your game is too weak it doesn't matter how hard you study , sooner or later you'll go busto again, maybe in one week, one month, half a year ... it's just a matter of time until a bad beat sets you off.
Some software might help for BRM and stoplosses. While you might talk yourself into the idea that chasing your losses is a good idea at that time, the software can just block the pokerclient or something like that so that you have no other choice than taking a break.
