I am looking to play HU Hyper SNG, currently on Stars.
I would like to know if there would be a better place for me to play. In terms of volume, skill of players and rake/rakeback.
Also you guys think that the volume of players on stars should send the message that there are a lot of weak players and that should keep me there even if they don't have a good rakeback offer?
Do we get any rakeback from Ipoker at this point?what about 888?How is their vip sistem? How much do i need to rake to get a good deal?
Stakes 1.5 up to 7
Thanks

For Hyper turbo's, you have the following options: Revolution(cake), Yatahay and 888 (besides stars obv). These sites offer the structure stars have and that you are used to.

Revolution network is mostly US facing site but if you do your research you can find sites on their network that dont accept US players, meaning your money is safer there. From what I've seen traffic's okay there at the 3.5 level (same buyin levels as stars btw, as well as rake for the most part).

Yatahay's a pretty small network, even compared to revolution. They have $3.00 + 0.10 hypers which run mostly late at night GMT time(as most of the traffic is from US). And there dont seem to be more than two running at the peak times....

888 I would avoid like the plague if you're planning on playing hyper HU (unless playing highest stakes). I admit I fancied giving them a go and then realised how badly rake will be killing me. For example, the rake on the $6 level is 6.67% which is pretty ridiculous for any HU sng - let alone a hyper format. Plus their VIP system is dire

Ipoker have their super turbos which to be fair are poorly structured - blinds increase every minute, steep increases, 5% rake as well. BUT, paddy power(on this network) is the ONLY skin offering hyper turbo headsups. They have a pretty decent structure - 800 starting stack, 2 min levels (mostly similar to stars) and 2% rake across all buyins($1,$3,$5,$10,$20). Unfortunately the traffic for these is pretty non-existent at the moment. I've raised the issue with iPoker that they need to make these network wide in order to attract more players but we will see if they'll actually bother doing anything to improve...

Hi TurnitAce,

The games at Stars are generally going to be tougher I think. The good thing is they will have the best traffic of all the networks.

If you wanted to try somewhere else I think PartyPoker would be great for you. They have loads of traffic for the $1.5-$7 hyper turbos and in my opinion the games will be softer then on Stars.

You will also qualify for a $500 first deposis bonus that adds 30% rakeback.

Find here how much you can expect to get back from our VIP offer depending how much you rake.

If you have any other questions please let me know

Callum

Erm suggesting that he plays on Party poker for hyper turbo's is like telling someone to go play on iPoker's $1 sngs because of the good rake. Pretty stupid imo.

Rake on hyper turbo on Party:

$3 - 9.09% rake (0.25 fee/2.75 actual BI)
$6 - 7.1% rake (0.4 fee/5.6 actual BI)
$11 - 7.3% rake (0.75 fee/10.25 actual BI)
$22 - 7.3% rake (1.50 fee/20.50 actual BI)

TurnItAce, by all means follow Callum's advice - if you want to lose money, that's the most +EV move.

Callum, the only suggestion you could've made was really cake poker (from the sites you guys affiliate, you obviously won't recommend ones that you guys don't - even though there are BETTER options out there for us players).

But yeah, TurnitAce, refer to my previous post for actual decent advice that you are after ;)

hello!

cash game question :f_p:

i want good rooms with reasonable NL50-NL25 speed poker traffic (i play FR, but SH is fine) for FDB whoring purposes.
any input is appreciated

Hi all, i play the hypers games on stars(HU, 6max and FR), along with the 20bb cap games. As all of you know the games on stars are getting tougher day by day, i need a good room with considerably good traffic to play those games and not having too much problem with the withdrawals or support. Cause i've heard some things about revolution network and its problems with withdrawals due to inefficiencies of their support. RB is not a priority.

Hello guys, I'd like a recommendation about the room to use for a first deposit bonus.

I play ONLY fixed limit .25/50 50/1, shorthanded tables + heads-up. Obviously, traffic issue comes up because of FL.

I plan to play 2 tables shorthanded or 1 table heads-up, and put in minimum 2 hours of play every day.

I'd also like a recommendation about the size of deposit amount that would best fit clearing the entire bonus.

p.s. already played Party and Titan so these two are out

Thanks a lot

Hey,

I guess usually guys here ask which room to play before they deposit, but i in my case i have already made a deposit at WH , now want to make sure if i can actually clear the New Player Bonus, which is 200% upto $1250.

I currently play either NL20 : NL50 (70:30), I deposited $1050 yesterday, i got 90 days to clear the bonus.

1. Now could you tell me would i be able to do this at current limit and roughly how many hands would you think i might require to put in.

2. Also could you tell me how much rake back including the New player Bonus will i be getting.

Hi Tomaloc,

We have great offers on the Ipoker skins that offer speed poker.

I would suggest getting started by playing on Titan Poker.

There we offer a $2000 200% first deposit bonus that clears at 52%.

Once you have finished that I suggest trying William Hill. They have the same bonus with a slightly lower rakeback % of 36%.

Good luck

Callum

Hi Ediotfromne,

Can you let me know what stakes you plan on playing?

In general Titan Poker is going to be the best place for you to play. They have 20-50bb max tables and decent traffic for SNG's.

They also offer a $2000 200% first deposit bonus that adds 52% rakeback.

Good luck

Callum

Hi Marcipanitto,

How did you find games at Titan?

If you enjoyed Ipoker then I would suggest clearing the first deposit bonus on William Hill, This will add a extra 36% rakeback on top of the VIP system.

Since its a 200% FDB, you only need to deposit $1000 to qualify for the full $2000 bonus.

Let me know

Callum

Hi Snatch79,

Im not 100% sure what you are asking for.

I guess you are going to use our free money campaign to play micro mtt's? Or do you intend to deposit yourself and use our exclusive first deposit bonuses?

Hi Mahnak,

It really depends how much you play. Just basing your play of NL20 it will take around 225k hands to clear the full $2000 of the first deposit bonus (The new player bonus is £1250 aka $2000).

For 50nl it would be much easier at around 130k hands to clear the full bonus.

If you could rake the $5.5k required to clear the FDB evenly over the next 3 months you would get around 36% back from the VIP system.

You would also make 3 gemstones in that time period too. These are worth another $150 each.

So overall if you raked the $5.5k over the next 3 months you could expect to get $2000 from the FDB, around $2k from the VIP system + $450 from gemstones. For a total of $4450 or 81% rakeback!

Let me know if you have any other questions

Callum

Hi Tampaloeres81,

Pokerstrategy and 888 have parted ways. It is a unfortunate situation but the decision was mutual from both sides and it was not under any negative circumstances.

Its certainly a shame to lose them as a partner room as they were great imo :(

Hi CallumN,

Thx for the reply.
Which of the poker rooms offer Hyper SNG's?
(PokerStars, but I'm not tracked there.)

I think that most of the poker rooms do offer them. I have played them on Partypoker and iPoker (different structure, though).

Partypoker hypers have pretty much the same blind structure than Pokerstars.
