So...I am back!
I stopped playing poker for a while because of several reasons!
My aunt had to go to hospital and when she came out I took care of her and did not really want to play poker - but it is all good again
Another reason is that I had to study a lot for university! I did not focus on my studies because I just wanted to play poker all the time so I had to stop completely.
During the holidays I was on the road and travelled a lot so I had no chance to play and to be honest I was not that motivated... but know I still have 1 month to go until university starts again (by the way I passed all my exams ) and I want to play!
The last few days a little and I was able to clear a bonus und my bankroll is at 58,65$ at the moment (few days ago it was at thirty so things are going quite well :9 )
I will update the blog more often and post some results as I have time (and hopefully enough motivation!!!) to play!
Question:
Any advice how I can motivate myself to study poker (read articles, watch videos and so on) ??? I have a serious lack there! Do you have any special streategies? ♦

Totally love and agree with your comments about uni, such a wierdo place ego people too involved with their courses... Thats why uni people well freshmen are sooo dumb, no life experience!!!

Okay I grinded a little bit more and I won a little bit...BUT I decided to play a tournament for 2,50$ (okay this is not correct BRM so do not fance this por favor ♦ )
I thoght I might have an edge because I played tons of tourneys on FullTilt Poker and cashed quite a bit...
So I played that tournament and went 1st SOOO EXCITED at the moment!!!
That was my first 1st place ever
so bankroll is at ~180$ at the moment

I had a shot at NL5 playing BSS and it was just horrible! Definetely the worst session of my life because of several reasons:
1) It might sound a bit stupid but I am so not used to play for "so much" money so I was a bit moneyscared and folded when it was not a wise decision I guess! I really have to adapt to that because for me it is a big change to play pots for more than 5 dollars!
That was the first mistake i made!
2) I suffered two losses in a row for a whole stack which put me on tilt...again! I really tried to cope with that but it seems that I am still not very good at that. According it is pretty difficult to recognize if you are on tilt or not from time to time.
Anyway I was able to recognize it and quit for a bit...just for a bit and kept on playing and lost even more money. I do not know why I am so stupid but I thought that a short break would help me to find back to my A game. Obviously it did not...surprise surprise 
3) I fell back to bad habits and called when I knew it was the wrong decision. It is like: I want to see what he has... This "habit" (pure stupidity) is probably my biggest leak and I am sometimes not really able to surpress the need to call - only god knows why!
4) It seems like the people on NL5 are not really willing to fold. Probably there is not that much of a difference if you compre NL2 to NL5 but I kept believing there is (maybe because of the larger pots or something...I do not really know that).
Maybe I am my worst enemy...or my mindset on which I have to work a lot more.
I started to play a bit tighter and I kept telling myself: I just cannot hit the flop...why are the cards always so bad...no not a flushdraw again - in fact, my game became a lot weaker and I started c-betting almost every flop on every talbe I played and just checked the turn and folded to a raise... sometimes bet the turn and folded on a river or even bluffed the river and lost quite a lot there! Of course, the calls by villains were often stupid too but that's not an excuse at all!!!
The lines I played were so god damn stupid...
Maybe I will post some hands later but I am not sure because they are just so emberassing! I mean it is not the case that I am not able to see the mistakes... The sad thing is that I won much more on NL2! Of course, I was really looking forward to play on NL5 with BSS but things just do not go the way I want them to!
Anyway, I ended up losing a bit more than 6 buyins ( :f_mad:) which is pretty sick I guess.

I also watche some videos before playing NL5! They are really good and I really tried to incorporate these infos into my game but it somehow did not really work out. Most of the videos were recorded on PartyPoker and it seems that the games are/were a bit softer there...but I am not sure at all!

I remember doing this too. I believe I don't do it anymore because I stopped thinking about what hand they have and instead think about what their range is. So calling to see their hand is, doesn't make any sense anymore because you still don't know what their range is exactly. I mean, I don't want to see their hand but their range now. I hope you get my point.

Seems like you ran bad. It 's quite normal to run bad over relatively long stretches (2k hands) but you just have to push through and try to play every hand optimally. But you probably already knew that

I did not play that much the last days but my sessions were actually winning sessions even though I could not manage to win big! In my time off the tables I took quite a lot of time for studying and watching videos! Still I have 3 weeks until university continues so I am going to work on my game a lot more
ofc I still have to work on my 3-betting and thinking in ranges!

thanks for pointing that out! I really try to think in ranges an play the opponent's range but it is quite difficult! In most spots I am still a bit to "scared" to 3-bet although it mostly worked when i tried to!

Just played a session and...hmm...played pretty good I guess until the last few hands where I blew off more or less! I really managed to stay calm until some point where 2 or 3 bad situations came up.
It is like even if I have a good hand I just cant hit! Even if i hit the board is wet as hell and villain always calls until he/she hits on the river and just pushes AI! Really dont know what in the world happened to fold equity ♦
Ofc I made some bad decisions! I mean, I really tried to hold back but...somehow it did not really work! At least I managed to quit before losing even more money!

First minraise was a misclick - was just searching for a table and after that I saw my hand... How can you play a hand that bad I mean...
Another thing is that when I raise pf with premium hands I just get folds...it is like they coul see my cards! 
I dont know whats wrong with me! Running under EV for like 10$!
Thinking about moving down to NL2 again - just as intervention!
