23/18/fold to 3bet-71(17)/fold to cbet flop 73(11) / turn - 0(2) / check/raise-0(11) / Agr freq F-46(69) / T-23(39) / R-10(31) for 466 hands.
We are nearly the bubble. I had not 3bet him last 4/5 orbits.
What do you think about the post flop play?
When call me on flop, I think he don`t have sets often.
On the turn I am trying to fold some poket pairs(55,77,88, if call them on the flop), some 9x(98s,T9s,J9s) and sometimes he can fold his draws 87s or flush draws. If he wants to play his draws, I think he will check/push them on turn.
On the river, I think, that I can represent nothing. On this spot, nearly the bubble, I think I will always check everything on the river.

Hi all,

The turn bet is too ambitious. I don't think our opponent folds enough of his handrange, and really you should be betting it with the intention of following through on a LOT of rivers to fold out pocketpairs, 9x etc that you think he's folding the turn with (he's not, and has a lot less of those in his range than you think IMO). I think if you bet the turn you should absolutely shove this river. The reason why the ace is regarded as a good barrel card is because it hits your hand very very often. It also helps that our opponent has very few Ax hands that he check/calls on the turn. I think quite a few regs find a bit of trouble justifying firing the third bullet here, and really if it's a spot where it's profitable, just do it :).

Seeing as it went to showdown, villain had 88/77?

He had KsQs :)
I don`t make a third barrel, because we are on the bubble and I had thought for my value range and I will have a few value hands, which I push on the river. But now I am sure that its very profitable to do 3rd barrel here. He don`t have a lot of hands, which can call on the river.

exactly, however if he can handread then it becomes a worse spot to triple barrel for the first reason you listed. fortunately, lots of tournament players cannot really hand read so yea.

KsQs is very poorly played by him, loses a lot of money IMO calling that turn bet.

Absolutely. Shove this river every time or don't bet turn if you don't want to 3-barrel on such a good river.

bet, bet, give up river on drawy board => EV-

Folding preflop would be a good start.

Hi all,

Folding KQs on the turn is pretty good. Although in retrospect it's possible that tourney players 2 barrel this turn card very tightly, so his implied odds are pretty good.

Preflop I like, but against a nitty 3bettor (which is what we must appear like to him), 4bet or folding is better.
