At least an overview with results would be really cool

If not for the news about the British Poker Festival I wouldn't have considered a trip to London, thinking it's gonna be way too expensive. I think news with some of these lower buy-in tourneys around the UK is great since:

a) Everyone knows about the very big events anyway
b) Most people here can't play the biggest events with good BRM.

Couldn't agree more.

There are loads of good venues and tournaments to play all over the UK and everyone I visit I think 'how have I never been/heard of this place before.' Basically because word of mouth and accidently stumbling on new things is a pretty slow process.

I for one would be very thankfull if upcoming events were advitised on this site. And results and success stories are always good for motivation

News about UK results and upcoming events big medium and small would be great i can't afford to travel to play any big events but knowing more about smaller ones or lower priced side events would be cool and i would probably start to travel a bit to play esp if i knew others from here would be going can arrange meet ups ect

Wow much better response than I expected. I think there could be interest from players outside the uk because we get lots of overseas visitors for things like UKIPT, DTD, the GUKPT etc.
