What about minbetting the flop?

what for?

I like minibetting the flop to induce a bluff from the villian. Shoving the flop makes you lose a lot of potential winnings, though.

why is min betting more likely to induce a shove than checking?
check flop,check turn ,bet river.

Because minbetting just looks so weak. And the kind of opponent who limp/flats for half his stack is not going to get suspicious.

I like a check, as it allows villain to make a mistake by shoving, but by minbetting you put pressure on him, don't give him a free card, and you let him shove with most of his pockets and his overs that he doesn't want to let go of. Shoving doesn't let villain make as many mistakes and is out of the question.

On the flop please check... Most players will just jam here if you check -> with a shove you just give him the opportunity to fold!

Than you can check again on the turn and jam river or jam turn if its a drawing card like a 10 or something like that!
