Regarding my phone search, I'm leaning a lot towards the Galaxy S3. ♦

I think that's just your problem.. I read there are some faulty batteries out there. Does everyone with an S3 have this problem?

Android phones do have a shorter battery life to iphones but they are definitely a better phone. All you have to do is charge your phone when you can (not a problem for poker players, I think they might get enough time in front of a computer). At the moment galaxy s3 is the best phone available, if you are concerned about battery life buy 3g instead of 4g

If you want battery longevity just get a Nokia 3310

I tried googling the problem a lot and it's specific to some batch of S3s, not a general problem of the phone. It has the highest score of all Android phones when it comes to battery usage. If it lasts only 16 hours in stand-by, Android phones would've been dead for a long time by now. ♦

Although we have time to charge them, the whole point is that they last at least for a whole day with medium use if you are travelling and charge them overnight. I wouldn't want a phone I have to charge every few hours since then it defeats it's purpose of mobility.

I am definitely not gonna buy iPhone 5 though and not because I have anything against Apple/iProducts. Their price is just huge for what they offer so I'm not even tempted. I can definitely see how an iPhone is better for some people's needs.

For me it's a question of what you want from a phone. Although the S3 is just as good a phone as the iphone, it doesn't have the same sex appeal.

Everything went smooth so far, just checked into hotel.

There seems to be a bug with my roaming service since I can't call anyone in the UK but good thing the Internet is working in the room.

btw iphones aren't fragile, as long as you have the most simplest cover thing they are pretty much unbreakable.
it took me an year using to break the back glass when it was cover less.

Visiting The Science Museum probably takes longer than visiting my home town in Romania.
