it was a 200k tourney i qualified through some freerolls 10nl cashgame 6max is what i normal play.
so it was highstakes if thats makes any differens on how to play.

i had 149 hands on villain he seemed to open wide 50%sb 40%BU CO75% MP19% EP11%

I don't think you're getting a fold from his MP raise often enough to make this profitable. And when he does call, which is probably with around half of his open raising range, then you are absolutely crushed.

Prolly shooda just called, and see if you hit some kind of flop ie... flush draw or set of 9's..... your putting your tourney on the line with a weak A..... and it looks like you had 24 BB......... Im a beginner too... and prolly dont know what im talking about... but yeah i prolly wooda of folded to any kind of aggresssion post flop,,,,, im here to learn too GL

Hi all,

Assassinato opens pretty tight from earlier positions, I like folding or completing here. If you're less confident playing against tougher opponents folding is the best option as this is probably a ridiculously soft tournament and there's no need getting into wars with Assassinato..
