Hey there,
The guide has been updated. I've added the following chapter:
15. Audiobooks
Do it now.
@francisco: I'll look into it once the guide is finished. The paperback version might be a bit more complicated to publish than the kindle one though.
The drawback with publishing it ASAP that I have is that I am not completely satisfied with how disorganized the guide is and I am also not completely satisfied with the quality of some content.
I can't make any promises about when the book will be published, but if there is a need for it, I will make sure that it gets on the market - you have my word for that.
@hoedinie: I dislike constant fasting because on the day you fast, you are completely without energy. I do have some days from time to time where I eat a lot of fruit to "clean myself", but that's about it. If you eat healthy all the time, I personally don't think that there is a need for fasting in order to be productive.
As for the healthy food, you will get 10000 different opinions anyway. I have personally found the content that is on TV and in the newspapers to be extremely outdated, wrong and useless in the majority of the cases. There might be exceptions of course.
I could watch the documentary and provide my opinion on it, but how would that help you or me? It would still only be my opinion and if the opinions would clash, there would be no real benefit.
I know the advice that I'm giving out regarding food works. It works for me, it works for my friends, my family, and a lot of other people who I've helped as well. It's been extensively tested and proven that the kind of nutrition I recommend helps you become more productive, focused and concentrated.
Now I am not saying that there are no other ways that work. There are plenty. To find out which works best for you, you need to test them yourself though. Be open to different things and see how they work.
I've tried IF (intermittent fasting) in the past but it worked terrible for me, so I try to stay away from fasting if possible. Staying away from food for more than 3-4 hours makes me feel sick and completely destroys my productivity.
But if it works for you, that's great.
I do have to warn you though, unless you're really fat, you're losing a decent amount of muscle as well right now, which might not be what you want. The realistic fat loss amount without losing much muscle is about 0.5kg/week, so in 50 days, so you should have lost about 3.5kg by now, but you've lost double that amount. I would decrease the calorie deficit a bit if I were you, but that is again just my opinion.
I hope this helps,
-SF
