Loose squeeze-play

Can add that we were very close to the money. About 100 players more to go.

To the hand:

This not a lose squeeze play. This is just -ev You're losing a ton of chips with that move! You overestimate your foldequity in this spot! You have a super bad hand, a bad stack2pot ratio if another player shoves or calls you here!

This was against a loose stealer and a reg on CO/BU. So I figured that the initial raiser can´t have much of a hand and when the regs calls with a M of 12,3 he can´t have a monster either. When I squeeze from SB I am repping premium and therefore they both should fold. But when he does call I put him on o the range A-J+ and 7-7 to 10-10. By not wanting him to shove on me with a draw like A-K I moved all-in forcing him to fold his draws.

I think this was a good play concerning the stack-sizes and close to the bubble. Please reconsider your evaluation or explain to me more specifically why I played this hand bad.

I admire your thinking here but I simply don't see this as being a good move and worth the risk we are putting in here. Now if you have a hand like A3o (a blocker) I think this move makes quite a bit of sense. So I would fold PF.

Now for the flop you have to consider what type of range your opponent would flat in position playing 20-14 against a wide range. I tend to think he's going to be doing that with plenty of broadway type hands. That being said he has hit this board pretty hard a good % of the time.

It just is way too loose of a play in my opinion and we would be better off being a bit more selective. We don't have to take advantage of every "spot" that is presented to us.

Yes that makes perfect sense!

Maybe this move will work better at higher stakes but I will from now on only squeeze with blockers

If you squeeze 52o, does it means you squeeze every single hand when you are in this spot? Do you think it's a smart idea?

lets say that this sqeeze is good. Why not wait untill next hand when we have at least a hand with some equity and make a great sqeeze?

The debate isint ev here (although hes right its really bad)
The question you gotta ask yourself is why do a "ok" play when we can do a great one with a a blocker,suited connector, or broadway.

Also you should be allin not 3 betting with these stack sizes.

I only squeezed here because we were near the bubble and the plan was to put a lot of preasure on CO/BU preflop
