Grinding my way to Japan!!! FR,SNG,CAP

Update!

I didn't like PT4 it was laggy and hard to understand or to be more honest i didn't had time to spend whole day to learn everything from beggining so i deleted it and downloaded HEM 2. wow, even if HEM 2 has some problems,it's the best software for poker IMHO and i fell in love with it so next month i'm gonna buy it but before that i need to buy cooler for laptop cause of overheating. This month i only played 100 hours and hope to finish August with 170+ hours so there're another 70+ hours i need to play and of course gonna hope for the best
I'm happy with zoom and my bb/100 right now is much much higher than it was on regular tables, so i hope it's a good think or maybe i'm just running good and in the end the winrate will be as lame as always.

wow it's been already 7 days when i last post something here. I could say i'm sorry for not posting but to be honest i'm not even sorry I finally gave back all the 700$+ dollars to my friend and now i'm free ♦ So now the only thing left is to pay for school but i only need to withdraw 60$ everymonth so it's nothing comparing to previous months where i withdraw 200$+.
Also in the last 7 days i couldn't get myself to play a lot because of the lack of motivation or laziness,dunno. First i thought that maybe my lack of motivation was because of the money i owned to my friend and i was really passioned to grind until i'll give everything back and ofcourse to see if i'm capable to win anything in poker so in the end i did both. At least it should give me some confidence to continue to grind but it seems that it's more complicated than i thought at first :/
First i really have no strenght and will power to continue grinding NL2 and NL5 even for 1min cause i'm sick and tired of it. I played 600k+ hands in this summer and i don't want to play it again even if i know i should,meh...
So i'm thinking to switch to SNG for a while(few weeks,month or even longer) and see what i can accomplish there but the only thing is that the last time i played them was 4 month ago and i played 180man but this time i want to concentrate more on 9max and 18man, so i need somehow to refresh my mind, so that's why i printed all the possible materials i could find about SNG in PS and gonna reread, also need to resume clicking buttons in SNG wizard for ICM so it's a lot of work for me for the next two days so that starting from september i could easly grind 20+ tables.

What i'm gonna play?

9max knockout Turbo (1.50$ and 3.50$)
18man (1.50$ and 3.50$)
few 180man (2.5$)
few MTT (starting from fpp freerols to 1.35$ knockouts)

My BR will be 504$ and hope it will be enough not to go broke.

hey jurish. well you're clearly capable of crushing. have you considered a stake? just to get you away from nl2 and nl5? even though you said you were going to move to SnG i enjoy looking at your cash graphs ♦

haha i completley forgot about stake, damn it would be a great idea to get someone to stake me for zoom NL5 and NL10... But meh gonna try out SNG even if cash could be more profitable So if i'll get crushed in semptember by playing sng i'm gonna consider to find a stake

i forgot how brutal can SNG be especialy when you can't win any flips and losing all hand when you're ahead... Ofcourse it's not like i didn't make any mistakes but anyway it's hurts like hell...

Your thread is very motivational but I don't really see why you would play sng all of a sudden, you're doing great in cash...

If you need a change sometime throw in micro mtt session or something like that, I wouldn't switch games...

thanks it's nice to hear that my thread is motivational worth. Yeah it was a bad decision to move to sng so i'm back to cash. Also i took your advice and i'm mixing 3 mtt tourneys everyday and it really helps. My results aren't that impressive if you compare to other people who could easly win 2k$ in less than 600k but yeah, i'm happy with the results and again,thanks

Update!

Ok i'm back to cash and will stay there for the rest of my poker "carrier." In the last two weeks had small depression cause i couldn't get myself to grind another hundreds of thousands hands in NL2 and NL5 but whenever i tried to find some other way i always came back to cash. My BR right now is 480$+ and gonna grind NL2 and 5 until i'll have 600$ and than i'll move to NL5 and NL10 completely. So i only need another 120$ to move higher and for the last time getting out of NL2,haha, it's like a curse for me, really... I'm also playing playing 3 mtt 0.55$(1k Gtd), 1.10$(2.5k Gtd) and 1,10$(1,5k Gtd) and hope to ship one of them in this month. Also have some tilting problems with zoom and hoping to fix it as soon as possible cause it really hurts for my hourly rate.
I think that's it for now, gonna put this month graph later and hoping not to get depressed so that i could update blog everyday.

for fucks sake how the hell i lost this hand??? It's fucking insane, finally i run good and build up my chips and there where only 200 left and i was above average and boom! i'm versus one 40/20 idiot who's happy to go all in with any hand and ofcourse i had AK... And guess what he had ? Yeah it's sucks but oh well who doesnt want to feel the thrill by winning first place in tourney ? ♦ but it's sad that it's only for few people out there... Cash was and is my main game so i need just to embrace it and understand that i'm not an SNG or MTT player but it's hard to swallow

Today played almost 9 hours and run pretty well and i feel my old game is back so gonna grind a lot this month( hope to grind all following days 10+ hours/day) and hope to move to cap next month.

Update!

Everyone in family were sick with some kind of virus and i caught it 3 days ago, even my temperature went up to 39C so it was a little hard to even move but anyway i'm ok now and today played 10k+ hands and tommorow i'm gonna be back grinding 10h+.
Today i only lost few $ but it was pretty brutal how i runned vs sets and fullhouses but i was happy with my game, i played well and most important i didn't tilt and that's a good sign for my mental play. Also tommorow will be the last day i'm gonna play NL2&NL5 so i decided to move faster to NL10 even if my BR is 540$+ so hope to get my first 1000$ this month.

It's been a while

What happened in september ? wanted to play more than 400k hands but played only 200k wanted to grind 300h+ but played only 110h+. Also started to play NL10 and already played more than 27k hands but my bankroll is more then enough to play in NL10 so gonna try out NL25 as soon i'll get 1250$ for those limits so that i can take shots but anyway, zoom right now is much more profitable than regular tables and i hope the game will not change in the next months

This month i'll start with 1000$ roll and move up to NL25 when i'll have 1250$ and gonna grind until i'll have 2500$ roll.

Long time no talk.

Right know i'm in depression. Not a great post after more than 1 month silence,huh ?
I lost motivation and dunno what to do with poker altogether. Why's that ? Because after a wonderful september where i finally found an format where i can win and put enough hours in the last 4 month to get my bankroll over 1100$ i just spend it away. I lost my cool or my sense or whatever it calls and just like an idiot lost my bankroll in few weeks, it's so stupid that i just don't understand how could i done it in the first place...
It was also a little redumdent how i became like this. After the september when i had a great month i just couldn't play zoom anymore because i was winning there and somehow lost any interest in it,dunno why. So in october i couldn't get myself to play poker so i decided that i will move to CAP tables but to do so, i needet to my an coaching package for 369$ ofcourse it would hurt my bankroll a lot but somehow i didn't care and bought it. Ok so after i bought it i started to learn and played few hundred hands but somehow i wasn't happy with my laptop screen so i bought a monitor and few other things which i hoped will help me to feel better to play more poker but ofcourse it didn't help and made everything a lot worse. Also picked up my old habbit SportsBetting and ofcourse lost few hundreds there and after that i withdraw some money and lost motivation and will to play, so that's how i spend whole october and right know my bankroll is close to 160$ and i will lost and don't know that to do.
Of course i bassicaly know what to, that is to grind,grind,grind,grind until i'll have enough bankroll to support CAP tables but if i look at myself right i'm having psychology problems(break down? or maybe i'm using this phrase wrong?), cause i can't find any strenght to claim again from nothing to 1k$+ and really don't know if i should drop poker or try to play and hope my motivation will come back or maybe just forget it and end all this with and excuse that i'm not capable(or smart enough) to be succeful in poker.

So if someone can give some advice what to do, i would appreciate it.

hey man i'm sorry to hear you're not doing too good atm. and it definitely sucks about your bankroll, but from reading your blog it is very obvious you will EASILY be able to make back a decent bankroll. i think just put the money you spent behind you and keep going - nothing you can do about that now. your volume and skill seem pretty damn good so just go for it mate hope you can find the motivation. gl

I tried to play with MSS many times but somehow i couldn't find the right approach so i'm using BSS most of the time.

- Hard to explain why zoom is easier than regular. To be honest, i didn't liked zoom and played only on regular tables but i was never happy with bb/100 and hourly rate so i started to try out zoom and somehow it was much easier to play and exploit opponents. Maybe it was because most of players don't use HUD in zoom or maybe because they were not able to change there styles from regular tables, dunno, but it was easier and my winrate and most important(for me) hourly rate went up dramatically and i was shocked that i was an decent winner there with no effort I think you need to decide for yourself which is better regular or zoom but from my point of view zoom is much profitable than regulars. hope it helped

- sorry all the database i had from zoom was in HEM 2 and my trial ended so it's impossible to show you but i can easly say that SD/nonSD went in both ways. blue line up, red line down, so i was playing very basic poker with stats like 13/10 and 1.3 3bet and didn't try to bluff much anyone or make my red line go up, just boring ABC poker with some my own elements( or stupidity).

Ok it's already 12th november and if i really want to move to Japan next year i need to make some changes in poker and my life altogether, so i decided that i need to get back on my feet and do what i need to do. In June when i made a goal about moving to Japan i said to myself that i'm going to open an blog and write there at least one time per day, and put some questionably hands to help me improve, also make a video(-s) to help others improve and ofcourse to get some advices about my play. Also i wanted to participate in study group or even open my own study group but somehow i already forgot all about it, but right now i'm gonna be committed to everything what i wanted to do.

First, i'm gonna make few goals every week which i need to accomplish, like play x amount of hands per week or posting x amount of hands in forum etc.

Second, right now i'm a little overweight(15-20kg) and don't feel very good about it, so i need to find some activities to do.

Third, want to make some real(not overwhelming) goals for november, like make a video and join or make a study group.

So than let's start:

Goals for this week( From 12-18 November ):

:diamond:play poker at least 8 hours everyday.
post interesting/questionably hands here and share my thoughts with other
Go to the local pool at least one time this week for more than 1 hour.

Also if someone has some advice about how to make an poker video and which programs to use, i would appreciate it.

THAT'S IT, if i'm gonna play another minute in ZOOM i will crash my monitor, burn my laptop and sacrifice my cats to mayan demon Lebara. I'm really sorry for those who are following my blog, but enough is enough.
