your graph is way different to mine. I think you are much more aggressive than me as my blue line goes up continously and my red line goes down continously my green line slops ever so slowly up lol with plenty of down dips when I tilt and make bad plays or cash into a table I shouldn't be playing-higher limit one etc.

Could just be variance if you are getting it in all the time with set over set etc but I would go over articles on here before playing again. Find something that you are doing differently to what they suggest or something that you 'aha' I'm doing that wrong and then try applying it.

When I just started playing, I was playing strictly by the articles which lead me into big -. ♦ When I started NL Course, it gives you much more different point of view at poker, which is that the articles just advise you play, it's not how you play all the time even nl2, it's more about being able to adapt to what ever limit you play.

That's how I look at it now after finished my course. But that's just as always, an opinion. And by the way, I'm grinding right now and I'm doing pretty much okay.

Hi Rihard!

I think you're just losing waaayyyy to much on showdown! When playing on nl2 your showdown usually goes up and the non showdown goes down.

Oh about the video: the quality is really bad and it's hard to make up what the sizing is etc...

Actually made my own note book (book and pen style) where gonna put somethings down involved with poker. Made my hand charts based on the table types, put down aim for the first part on how to beat nl2. Gonna update on this later on.

When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful.

Had a pretty standard session, losing as always, with some good hands, and some bad hands. Also bad beats, basically most of them bad beats. I think I'm progressing which is good obviously, I would rather see that in the graph as well being in the profits, but hard to outplay idiots in their environment. ♦

A short report of a short session.

I'm heading to airport meeting my Misses.

Hello there,

Haven't had time to update this thing. Haven't played online for three days now. Gonna play some first sessions tomorrow after uni. But today I went again to play live poker, we had 12 players at 2 tables and I ended up be first! ♠_cool: Won with K high straight.

Had really rough start, as I couldn't get any decent hand until 800/400 blinds. Was a short stack playing p/f basically. Was as low as 1300 chips (blinds 800/400). Got all in with KJo, tripled up. Then with 3 players left, got it in with 22, and they did actually hold.

Went into head's up somehow, was roughly 1 to 6 in chips. Had a really, really lucky hand that probably did win it all. I held A J . Went all-in, got called with 4 2 . Flop comes like this 2 6 2 . I was like, oh well that was a good match anyway, second place is good as well. But then J turns. I actually said that the J on the river is coming and it did. Even took a crappy picture of it. ♠_biggrin:

And then since that hand I took the whole head's up play in my way. Was playing really solid poker which resulted in winning the entire thing. I am really happy. My girlfriend was sitting next to me, cheering for me all the time. That's some huge motivational boost seriously, great experience.

NL2 is great, its a donk fest, very beatable.
Be tight, not nit(which is still profitable)
raise dont limp.
you have a hud, so use the stats and dont try to bluff.
dont go all in with AK unless its a mega whale.
If they fold too much bet less to win the pot, if you hit, just pot it. If you think you are ahead just pot it.
Play your range against somebody elses range, dont play the player, not only you will find yourself in difficult spots and everytime they call, most of the times you will be behind.

An update to the previous post:

Had to really post that quickly because I was heading to my bed, got to wake pretty early to get to the uni.

Played a really decent session yesterday. I even remember a hand were I held KK on a flop 8A2 rainbow, and folded when opponent re-raised me all-in. I did put him on a hand Ax suited pre-flop, because the flop was rainbow, I don't think that he was playing for a draw catcher, you could have either a set of 8's and 2's or AK, AQ hand. I think the fold was decent, though you can argue.

I guess the graph it self shows that I was making the right decisions, I take a bit longer when thinking before the move now, probably inspired by my recent live win. ♦ I'm taking similar approach now.

I just need to stick to this and get finally out of NL2, which probably won't be that soon based on my BR. But still gonna play the way I'm playing, and if the luck will turn back on me, gonna take break again and so on.

But even when you're losing you might make the right decisions. In fact you're running above EV. So somewhere you kinda sucked out on someone? Doesn't matter though! We deserve luck once in a while as well.

Gonna update this one very quickly. I decided to withdraw from Party my roll and wait until the re-launch of FTP and then start from scratch playing there on a decent software and receive my strategy points. And I really hope for excellent traffic over there.
