Hi vonki,

i really like TT's and your video series and was full of delight when your where announced as a Pokerstrategy-coach :)
Your first Video for the community was really good... but since then there hasnt happened anything... i am so sad.

Any plans for reviving your Coach-status? I hope so very much and i hope you dont become a one-hit-wonder.

Best wishes

Hi Qwertz!

Thank you for the really kind words, they mean alot!! What page did you have to go to to find my blog, 10th?

Atm I'm not sure whats going to happen :) Not just with my position with PokerStrategy.com but with poker as a whole. I've experienced some turbulence in "paradise" and have taken some time to myself to figure out which path to go down from here.

Thanks again for checking in on me, this community is truly awesome! :)

xoxo

Thanks for your reply, vonki :)

I really hope that you keep on playing poker... there are not enough girls playing & kicking butts^^
I hope you will stay with pokerstrategy as well and you get the chance to produce some more videos or even live coachings!

I am not good at reading between the lines but if you are in love, pregnant and/or have more important things in mind atm than i am very happy for you :)

Your company is always a pleasure here, but good luck with whichever path you decide to take.

Have fun at least,

Mal.

Hey lads and gals, whats up?! :)

Thought I'd make a little update for once!

First of all, I have been getting some questions/remarks about me having quit playing poker. I want to clear that up, NO, I have not stopped playing. :) I just cut down my playingtime dramaticly (or well who am I kidding, I wasnt rly playing much anyway) to try to figure out wether giving up poker was the best option for me or not.

My conclusion: No, it's not!

I have been going through some rough patches, both on and off the tables and I questioned wether I should seek a more "social" and "active" source of income. Some people already know, but I struggle with mmh... "depressions" sometimes, at which point I get incredibly affected by my lifestyle choices. If I dont go out and socialize, eat well enough, sleep well enough, work out etc I get to a point where I cant even push myself to play poker even if I'm running hotter than the sun. How I'd feel when I ran worse than a horse without legs, you can figure out yourself. :)

Probably doesnt sound like poker is the best fit for me. That's the easy reply, and the easy way out. I dont think Im known for taking the easy way out ;) All it means, is that I'll have to work the harder to achieve my goals. That means, fixing everything that in any way disturbs my productivity, mood, energy & motivation. I've already implemented a few steps to my life. Step 1: Dietary changes, including cutting back on alcohol to a bare minimum. Step 2: Start working out regularly (I now go to yoga/aerobics/dance classes 3-4 times with a friend, which I might increase at a later point - this also makes sure I increase my social life wether I feel like it or not). Step 3: Stop smoking. Step 4 will be to sort myself, and my pokerhabbits out. I need to make a more detailed plan for this.

Step 3 will be implemented today. I have 1 cigarette left, which I intend to enjoy in a bit, and after that I have my nicotine patches ready to go. I've quit smoking before and there's not a doubt in my mind that I'll make it with ease. The harder part will be to not start again.

My new, improved self and life has begun, and I couldnt be more excited. As a cherry on top, I have gotten to know the most amazing, kind and wonderful guy on the planet. :f_grin: Whats even better; he tells me every day what an incredibly kind, awesome and amazing person I am too :f_love:

tldr; No, I didnt quit poker. I'm alive and kicking, and coming back with full force!

That'll be all for now! Hope you're all well! :)

xoxo

Hi Vonki

Nice to hear that you dont quit poker compleatly. I really like the videos you made with Twice T. I hope there are more to come.
I wonder if you know. if there is any live poker clubs around Borlänge and Falun. I wont to try play live and not only on internet. it is too far to the casino.

Awww thanks you guys!! :f_love:

pejja: Sorry, dont really know any. Thats part of the reason why I dont really play any livepoker :(

More than 24 hours without cigarettes, woot woot! Decided to buy myself some new clothes (including some lingerie (yes, I had to google how to spell that) ) as a token of aprechiation to myself. More or less came down to what I'd save myself in a month of not smoking, so maybe I should make a habbit of it? :f_biggrin: :f_biggrin:

went with 2 dresses, might wear one of them for new years eve! which one should I pick? :)

sorry guys but no pics of the underwear! _evil:

 Novemvber goals

For now, I will keep it simple.

[ ] 80 hours of poker

I think I will start off with playing ~3h/day and re-evaluate in a few days or a week and see how things are going. The 80 hours are a minimum, and if I can end up exceeding that then ofc I'll be thrilled.

I want to start with pre-session routines aswell.

Today for example, to prepare for my MTT night I will take a warm relaxing shower, do some yoga exercises, light some scented candles etc and ofc make sure I have water/something to eat on stand by. Can't do yoga/candles every session ofc but for some special sundays like this one I sure can! It adds a cozy happy feeling :)

Best get in the shower!

xoxo

lol no, I ran terrible in all tourneys

but it did help me feel alot better about everything :) I bought some new ones yesterday, cherry scented ones... mmh  Absolutely LOVED the ones with coffee scent too but they smelled too good. I'd just be wanting coffee 24/7 and I'm trying to cut down :]

Does anyone out there have any pre-session routines? Suggestions? :)

xoxo
