i didn't cbet cause i tought that his flat is a bit suspicous so id rather go for pot control, didn't really think that im gonna have to fold to his bet on almost any turn (hence my shove on the turn is just superbad...).

what would be the best line here?
giving up on directly on the flop (check back flop, fold turn unless a K hits)?
or maybe cbet/folding this flop is not that bad, even being this shallow?

I don't like the open pre-flop, you should fold with 12bbs

I think it's fine not to cbet, because there's a lot of cards that give you good draws on the turn, plus stacks are akward, your cbet will leave him with a nice sizing bluff shove.

What's with the open pre? Really not a fan.

As for the flop line-uhhh, I think it's def a nice board for him to c/jam, it hits him well.
On the turn, hmm, we don't have no FE. Just think of it like this. He prolly doesn't have A of hearts as he will either rejam pre or fold, so our FD is good + 3 more outs for the King plus occasionally Tx could be good. All in all, like 27-31-2% equity or so. If we assume we are facing one pair made hand. But he would also have some worse draws in his range. I don't think it's awful. I think it's close. If we assume he makes that play with Qh f.e. or 97, or 9T, or 57 it doesn't look bad to me. I think it's an ok play and you can't go too wrong on the turn by both folding or jamming, but opening pre is definitely a mistake.
