FWIW New Zealand THRASHED the Solomon Islands 0-2 in the first leg of their Oceania World Cup qualifying campaign.
No doubt the buzz about the return leg in Albany tonight is clogging the back pages over there. ♠_thumbsup:

Fair play to Andy Murray! He was 2-0 up last night before I hit the bed, can't believe Djokovic got back level!
About bloody time he won a slam but a great achievement nonetheless!
Got a free 25 quid incentive bet from a poker room/sportsbook today. Going for a huge 60:1 accumulator on tonights WC qualifiers ! Updates to follow
Not to be this time, England let me down when I already had 6 winners with 2 to play.
They weren't one of my original picks, but I talked myself into it....schoolboy error
Still, didn't cost me anything, and it did make the game really exciting !

When ever i hear of the All Whites i can't stop laughing that ye were unbeaten at the last World Cup.
You literally couldn't make it up and also the game with Italy when ye could have won.
You enjoying the 4 Nations?Argentina will need another year or 3 to settle down but happy they are there.

Not surprised to see McClean left out, mentioned it in the Indo today that he was gonna be benched yet again!Feel sorry for the guy and if he doesn't start against Germany then I'm guessing it will be another Andy Reid like saga.
Delighted to see Meyler, Coleman, Wilson, Brady get a chance. Don't know much about Brady but if ol' red nose rates him then he must be a decent prospect!
Hopefully the Pool have something to hang onto by xmas, an injury to Suarez or Borini and its pretty much curtains for us! Neither are gonna score 20 goals a year anyways so I don't see us scoring too many

What's the story at Villa Park then?
McClean won't be starting Gary.He had a good 30 minutes when he came on but you can be sure Trap will be stubborn about the whole situation. What i think will be most interesting to see if he reverts back to Whelan/Andrews partnership.I will go f***ing insane if he does.
Was going to buy tickets for the game but to hell with that.I'm not lining that prick Delaney's pockets at all.The FAI and style of football are too much of a joke at the moment but not turning on Trap to after the Faroes game as mentioned.
Future is alot more positive with the young players than i thought a few months ago.Whether they get a chance to shine is another matter.
Villa languishing down the bottom as usual.Could be a relegation battle this year
Really young squad and like Lambert but compared to the times under Martin O'Neill then you can't deny we have turned into a shambles of a club.Long way up as you know full well yourself.
If you come across MarkQuick pass on my regards will you.Thankfully international week is over anyway and back to the premiership and some proper footy.

England should have won the game as Defoe's goal was perfect in my eyes.Idiotic referees ruining the game with blowing the whistle if you even touch someone. They still can't hold onto the ball properly though.
Yeah was impressed by the young lads against Oman but at the end of the day it was Oman and can only really judge them on this performance!
I think we both know that the team is going to go back to the way it was for the Euros with just the retired players replaced.
Such a shame and a waste really but Trap is gonna Trap I feel

I think all players know that if you go down clutching your face the ref is likely to give a free, regardless of actual contact. Personally, I'm in favour of retroactive fines/bans for blatant simulation.
On the plus side I thought cleverley was excellent, really good positioning and movement - work on his finishing and he could be a great player.
As for McClean starting against germany, after his twitter outburst I just can't see it happening.
Funny quote from Trap in the journal a few days back: “This is a problem we have in our team, that five or six players only usually play 30 minutes or so every week,” said Trapattoni.
Now think of the list of younger players who aren't getting picked who play week in week out in the prem/championship...

I think everyone is pyure.Diving and cheating has now become a common feature of the game that it's almost become a skill in itself.Fines and bans would be great but i'm sure they experimented with it a bit and lots of complications came up.Eduardo then of Arsenal got a 2 game ban which was then overturned on appeal so for whatever reason there must be loopholes or something to get out of it as surely we would have seen alot more.
The referees aren't stupid either and surely they must have common sense sometimes.I think Defoe's disallowed goal is a very bad sign of the times.
Great clip here though ;-)
Cleverly was excellent against Moldova and had a good game against the Ukraine.Ferguson is starting him alot so you know that he must be a great player with a great future ahead of him.Not sure about sticking with Lampard and a few of the older players as the World Cup is 2 years away but i have to say i much prefer to watch England under Hodgson then under Capello.Chamberlain also has a long way to go but been really impressed with Glen Johnson and Baines recently.Rooney hasn't done the business in years for England but plenty of time to get a settled team ready.
As for Trapatonni's quotes. The man is half senile we are starting to believe over here haha.He contradicts himself alot and is very stubborn.Gary and half the country want him out at this stage but i think he will be around for a while.
Ireland and England lined up 2 friendlies for next year and the year after which is great news.Been too long considering we are neighbours.Hopefully will head over and see the new Wembley.
Another international weekend, another punt at a huge betting score !
This one worth around €500 to me for a minimal outlay - here's hoping for no upsets !
Fun starts at 5pm with the Czech game and finishes at 2am with the Mexico game, should be a good night
Didn't want to jinx myself so I stayed away from the Ireland-Germany game!
aye, cant see it going well to be honest. all the injuries might force trap into trying something though
Well that was embarrassing ! Worst Irish performance ever according to Ronny Whelan - not so sure about that, Germany are probably the best team in the world right now and we were riddled with injuries but still can't take anything positive from the game to be honest.
Would have liked to see Brady come on and get a chance to impress.
On the upside made a mint with my bets
Missed out on the big one cause of Ukraines draw with Moldova, but all my other picks came in for a healthy profit !
Haven't had time to post since last weeks debacle!
The win over the Faroes doesn't make any difference IMHO. Would have preferred a draw/loss to end the Trap era.
Flabbergasted that he is allowed to stay on - FAI have no gumption whatsoever.
Won't watch another minute of Irish football until Gio is back in his retirement home in Milan once and for all
Hey guys !
I have been working on a few projects lately and one of them considers predictive modelling of sports matches and using the results of the models to make money on betting exchange - BetFair.com. As a result of this research, we are now developing a web application that would offer betting predictions for anyone based on their risk profile and other input data.
As during my many years here I found out this is a great community with a lot of constructive ideas, I would like to ask you for any inputs on what would you want to see on such a website that would make you use it more.
Every single idea is most welcome
Thank you all
you can also post your ansers here if you want
