there's 2 options imo
1: We set up an private tournament on chesscube or a similar site. This would be by far the easiest option but I don't know if it's possible. Does anyone know a site where you can set up a private game?
2: I make a spreadsheet, a KO draw with random opponents at the start and just try to get all the games done, maybe upload it into google docs so everyone can put their own results in. This probably wont work cos people will not follow through with their games. But it might, you never know.
Anyone got thoughts on this?

I think option 2 on chesscube would work fine. Just post the crosstable here, and we can put results in as we go. And, as I said, don't let Dublimax in. He plays boring chess. 
sucks & lags. You can do it guys on FICS (free internet chess server or chessbase aka play chess)
I've recently played OTB game on 1st board.. I can put the moves from head coz it really wasn't as much of a difficult game..
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nf3 Bg7 4. Bg5?! c5 5. e3 Ne4 6. Qc2?? Nxg5 7. Nxg5 cxd4 (now he loses pawn and winning the game should be pretty easy) 8. Bd3?? Qa5+ with xg5 next move. Here the game ended for me and just grinded couple more moves and made him give up later. I couldn't believe how he played this game. He was one of the two guys that managed to draw with me last season.
Are any of you real chess masters? I might put some time aside and try to win the c.u.p? ♠_confused:
Ok well I made a draw with everyone who said they were in on this forum.
I'm gonna put it on chesscube.com because that's where I have an account and so it's easier for me, plus it seems to work fine. Should we say games to be played by the 7th of November? then I can update the draw and sort the semi-finals out.
Put your chesscube name on the spreadsheet in brackets so we can find each other and add each other on there, if you don't put it on there by the 3rd Nov I'll assume you defaulted

Also I'm kind of bad so if you're bad don't feel like you shouldn't play, maybe we can have a losers side semi and final draw if enough people don't drop out
I didn't really say that I want to play but once you put me in the game is on. For my opponents if they can add me and contact me on skype. I don't want to spend much time waiting for the 10 mins of chess game instead of grinding ♦

I was thinking no more people because I'd have to change the draw round but actually I could just add people to each pool. So yeah I'll add w4terman into pool A and others into the other pools as time goes on

I think chesscube does white/black at random don't they? If yes then that would be my pick.
The time thing is going to be a bit tough I think because not many of us are online all the time ready for a chess game. There's a chat function on chesscube where we can send messages once we've friended each other. We should be able to arrange times on that right?
